Man I love Hellborg and Lane,but this drummer just doesn't click w/ them,too much of a pocket player just doesn't have the improv skills needed to hang w/ Hellborg/Lane

But then who does! LOL!!!

@craftonbarnes Saw Jonas this month at Colo-Saal w/ Ginger Baker and Reggie Wooten on guitar plus an African percussionist whose name escapes me at the moment

Pretty neat show,Reggie is deffo an original guitarist and it was fun seeing Jonas improv in a funk/odd time groove meter even though he looked uncomfortable at times but I'm imagining Wooten is not an easy guitarist to play with as he seems to enjoy "playing with the rhythm quite a bit
