UPDATE: BF has stepped out twice and last week against the Cards, he went up against one of the best receivers the NFC has to offer, and completely held his own. I knew nothing about Brandon prior to watching this video. But when I did, I said to myself "that's all I need to know". Dorsey came in for a few plays, and they doubled him every time. THAT allowed the linebackers to get after Kurt Warner's ass. Between Brandon, Glenn, DJ, and PT; Chiefs defense is coming back. Be ready.

he's good, but he isn't a shutdown corner. he will lay you out. A shutdown corner, is judged by how many catches they allow, and he allowed tons of passes in this video. He did lay em out afterwards, but they shouldn't have even been open. He is very athletic tho, and can be groomed into a shutdown corner. i think Antoine Cason. and DRC were the only true shutdown corners in this draft....i'm still a big fan of Flowers tho

But here's something you've gotta' understand about Chiefs Defense under Gunther Cunningham: Yes there is a playbook, but it's secondary to athleticism, aggression, and being at the right place at the right time. And this guy has got that shit in SPADES. He needs to bulk up some and gain about a quarter of a step to be effective against the long-ball, but Brandon's demeanor, skill, and style are about as perfect a fit for KC as I've seen since DT. He and Glenn will be a wrecking-crew.

How the hell does he do it? This guy is taking on RBs and WRs bigger than him and demolishing them, even when they lower their sholders and try to drive through him. I'm extremely impressed. If he puts on 15 lbs and gets a little faster, he has every opportunity to be a dominating corner for years to come. Great instincts + uber aggressive technique = great pick for KC. Flowers might be one of the best picks of the ENTIRE draft. Time will tell, right?
