I just have so much trouble getting afraid over some random mutt in an abandoned mine... Is that the real horror here? Cause I thought we'd be seeing some world-ending Eldritch shit here, not "attack of the random wild animals."

Cause seriously, by rights his character should be able to kick an animal that size across the room, not get taken down in three hits as you desperately swing a claw hammer around.

I haven't played the game though, so maybe the horror picks up pace later. We'll see.

@JoshuaHefflinger Well, you can actually kill the dogs with the hammer and pickaxe. In the second game however, you will actually be seeing some scary shit, that can't be killed... unless you have a shitload of time on your hands that is (They have a lot of fking health O.O). You will also be seeing something fairly scary later in this one as well.

The 3rd one is just a bunch of puzzles that doesn't make any sense tho. No scares either.

also the aim is good, you're just aiming at the ceiling, instead of the dog at your feet. you're hitting the stuff in the middle of you screen, you're always looking up like you're trying to hit it with your vision
