@thehup21 Right, According to the corporate media protestors ignored warnings not to walk on the traffic lanes.. In fact the police had already closed off traffic on the bridge ahead of time.. and THEY directed people to go that way as well. Once on the closed traffic lanes they corralled and arrested hundreds of them! its an outrage.

@thehup21 the cops deliberately deceived the protesters into the street. there were SO many cops and not ONE told me to move off the street. i moved to the walkway only after a protest organizer suggested it.

@jmacri the cops arrested about 700 of these people on the bridge. the brooklyn bridge was shut down until about 8:30pm during this time. they brought in buses to bus the arrested people out to precincts across the city. the rest of the protesters who didn't take the street walked the walkway to Brooklyn or back to Manhattan. the cops cleared once the arrested protesters were taken away.
