  • Excellent design. But how well would it actually perform in combat? I mean say the effective/optimal range?

  • does it shot 3 1/2 in black clouds???? remington 870 express super magnum all day

  • 00 buck in the right tube, slugs on the left. Awww yeahhh.

  • They need lexan covers for those shotgun shell indicator holes

  • This would be really popular in an airsoft version, especially if it was compatible with current gas shotgun shells such as madbull or tanaka

  • tripod

  • @terraLiquidus are you a felon? been convicted of domestic abuse? over 18? not been dishonorabley discharged from military service? renounced your citizenship? etc etc.....? then yeah they're legal to own. unless you live in queerifornia, Washington dc, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or any other state that's ignorant enough to think that making weapons unavailable to common citizens while not giving a damn about the morons who can't legally own firearms but amazingly still have them.

  • It's legal in California...

  • ok. aside from the horribly annoying way he over pronounced ambidextrous, not a bad review. just got mine the other day. once I get back home to the woods I'm familiar with, we'll see if the performance matches the good looks.

  • Looks wicked. Are they legal to own?

  • Super sexy

  • Has anyone tried firing mini 12s in this thing? I can't even find anyone thats seen this shotgun in real life. I'm starting to think it doesn't really exist...and that makes me sad.

  • HALO SHOTGUN :D

  • So... much... plastic...

  • @ChrisRiley93 Yes, I think too, but i suposse that now the "cool" is the boss

  • I'm gone get one

  • Right after I buy a Remington 870 I have to find out about this sweet lady... It's like meeting your dream girl right after you get married.

  • @meyerjac ME TOO. I just bought the 870 Super Magnum. 3.5 in chamber 26". Which one did you get? I want a KSG sooo bad

  • @kbent88 I got the Express but I switched out the stock barrel for an 18". There are videos of me shooting it on my profile. =)

  • @meyerjac In the firearms world, polygamy is A-OK! My firearms don't mind me cheating on them.

  • @meyerjac That's why I got a mail order bride, built just the way I want it. Mmmm...Russians.

  • @meyerjac Wouldn't matter anyway as of right now the only way to get one is to pay 2-3 times more than what they retail for on GunBroker. I'm about to buy a 870 because this not available. Kel Tec is losing a lot of money not keeping up with the demand for this shotgun.

  • @AKSKSMAN have you considered semi auto?

  • @meyerjac Don't worry man, this thing is impossible to find, its sold out everywhere. And you could buy one off of GunsAmerica or GunBroker, but it will cost $1500. Its like the PS3/Xbox/Wii (when they first came out) of guns.

  • not a fan of this gun at all it just serves no purpose you can get a mossberg maverick or 500 if you wanna spend the extra money for the same gun for a 1\4 of the price of this one the only cool thing about it is the fact it holds 15 rounds but its still a damn pump if you want that kinda ammo payload you will come out better getting a Saiga shotgun and its a semi automatic -___- kel-tec makes shitty guns in my opinion

  • @gemenidroid Haters gonna Hate.

  • @gemenidroid Thanks for the words of common sense. Loading that thing has got to be a hassle. Yes its great loaded. but other than that I will stick to my 1300 and Zoli over under. I can outshoot other trypes of shotguns with my over and under. Loading two rounds at a time becomes faster than loading 5 a time. I can do it while clays are set up.

  • One Mag with Buckshot, and the other one with Frag rounds . Let the game begin!

  • WOW I want one with an extended barrel and TWO full length XRails for a total capacity of a gazillion rounds (40 or 50 im guessing)... Oh dear, dear, DEAR Santa Claus! That would look so bad ass and still be under 35" overall... yup I want one.

  • thumbs up for mw3 ksg 12

  • @kgjurashaj77 mw3 sucks bf3 is WAY better

  • After buying a Saiga 12, anything besides an AA12 is laughable.

  • the plastic stock look so damn cheap !, just like the interiors of American cars !

  • Innovative dual magazine design? You mean like the Neostead? Oh, i guess that wouldnt make it innovative then would it...

  • i want this sooooo bad!

  • dear santa

  • Also, does it fire 3" shells? Also, did they address the design flaw of it freezing up if you cycle without trigger fully forward?

  • @DrTadHusseinWinslow Yes, check out kel tec's review, they state they have fixed it.

  • @DrTadHusseinWinslow KelTec made a video a little over a month after SHOTshow where someone pointed that out to them, saying it was fixed

  • So on the safety, since the F is visible when the safety is extended on the RIGHT side, that means fire, so that is the opposite of every other crossbolt safety firearm ever built - not good.

  • Did this shotgun ever take off?

  • @CrocoDuck420 ON sale Since Xmas.

  • @CrocoDuck420 It was only released just before xmas 2011 a little over a month ago and someone on the keltec forum said they have back orders of 85 000 So i think it at least has a good start

  • i love it

  • This gun looks sweet!

  • Neosted did the dual mag first.

  • dunno about my state but many state have a law that only allows three shells in the shotgun at a time (my grandpa is retired mounted patol and he told me...although neither of us understand why it is that way). any idea on how laws will affect this gun...or will it be required to have a class III licence to own?

  • @RyderDarkheart Regarding the 3 round limit... In most if not all states the 3 round limit is only if you are hunting with the shotgun. If you are hunting with it you will actually have to put some sort of dowel or rod in the magazine tube so no more than 3 rounds can even be loaded. The KSG is even legal in California where I live & if it's legal here, it's legal about anywhere in the USA (i.e. - just about nothing is legal in California)

  • @justdickie just for hunting...i did not know that, thanks ^_^

  • @RyderDarkheart That is a hunting limit. Nobody is duck hunting with this gun.

  • @WALTERBROADDUS you never know...there are some realy stupid people out there... >.<

  • @RyderDarkheart yes that is true someone might for get what tube is m=empty thats the one thing i was thinking about too my self about stupid people

  • The real question about this shotgun is will you ever receive it once you order one?

Kel tec is so far behind on production they need to let people come down to help them build their orders. Might be kinda fun to build a dozen guns or so at the factory.

Love Kel Tec, just wish they could step up production.

  • The question now is there a tube extension? lol.

  • I can't wait for this gun to come out! It will totally dominate the Shotgun Market!

  • It looks like the halo reach shotgun and thats just great

  • @joseph011296 yes! i just noticed that tooooooooooo!

  • @ohmygoditsyomamma looks at its create a class icon in mw3 that looks even more like it

  • hi i'd like to see the working of the action through the ejection port....

  • ill stick with my saiga 12

  • I remember another double magazine shotgun just like this one was made by another company, I can't remember the name.

  • @SantoryuWazamono well there's only two other double tube-magazine shotguns that i know of, the Neostead and the UTAS-15

  • @Umimugo yes the UTAS, thats what I was thinking of thanks

  • I bet thats a pain in the ass to field strip

  • When will these be on the Market?

  • @JaySky181 On sale now.

  • Kel-Tec makes some of the most innovative modern firearms.

  • Can't find a sub2000 in Glock 9 or .40. Can't find a PMR30. Can't find an SU16Charlie anywhere. Can't get a KSG.

    piss on kel-tec

  • i have been researching this gun, but there has no def estimate on release date. I was at one point told it was gonna be in Jan, do y'all have any clue on the release date?

  • @juhsitfy153

250 of these units have been released right before Christmas :) check out auctions online good luck finding one at MSRP though! ranging from 13-1,500 in counting ive even heard of gun dealers at gunshows trying to get 2,000 for one

  • @juhsitfy153 On sale since Xmas.

  • uts-15 is better

  • Nice review guys. Great details of getting the camera "in close and in focus" while showing us the weapon.

  • when do they come out i want one now!

  • @DODD5000 on sale now.

  • Excellent video, except for one small point-- AmbidexTROUS, not AmbidexTRIOUS. It's kind of painful for the english major/grammar nazi in all of us.

  • Do you need a speacial permit for these or is just like any other shotgun where you can just own it?

  • @greenmonkeyfunk Nothing special needed. just like any other defense shotgun.

  • holes seem like a design flaw, prone to get dirt clogging up the tubes.

  • @relaxfoo Do you plan on fighting Germans in the Somme trenches? Doubt it will be a issue.

  • I remember seeing this on keltecs website and I actually just noticed it was on mw3 last night lol

  • @MrBobert121 I hope it's better than the one in MW3. It sucks

  • You know whats sad, I doubt hardly anyone knew much about this till MW3 came out. This has been on my wish list for nearly 2 years. Price tag is bound to rise with demand from video game gun geeks.

  • this video was very well done thanks

  • 2:30...Smart!

  • i remember reading about a very similar design from the late 80's / early 90's called the " winter gun ". they had a lot of problems with the twin magazine tube feed system though, and eventually they gave up. is this derived from that design?

  • Is an automatic version in the works, or pre-design stages, if at all?

  • I'm sick with envy !!!!

  • their safety seems backwards from every gun I can ever remember shooting. usually slid to th right is safe and to the left is fire.

  • @BikerTrashWolf Most guns with that type of safety have 'traditional' stocks as opposed to the pistol grip on this one. I'm guessing that it's meant to be flicked off by the thumb of a right-handed firer, or trigger finger of a lefty. I do agree that it seems backwards, though I see the logic behind it as well. This will give fits to 870 shooters such as myself. =P

  • CoD: MW3 is coming out soon. This video is going to get a million views because of it

  • Inherent flaw; the last 4-6 spaces on the charger are useless for any accessories due to how far back it moves!

  • ...jeeze, Armageddon is gonna be one helluva miserable time to live through...

  • am-buh-dek-struss

  • Have you ran 2" 00 through this yet?

  • it looks like the neostead-2000

  • $800 good price cool futureistic shot gun , can't wait for you to tell me about felt recoil.

  • Do you see a problem with those cut outs in the magazine tubes with debris getting in there?

  • was there a tactical or design reason for the choice of pump over semi-auto?

  • @DumbDuck44 A pump shotgun will feed just about anything that you can fit into it, within a given gauge and chamber length, maybe with the exception of those mini-shells in some cases. Semi-auto shotguns are a lot pickier about what they'll shoot and feed, for example high-brass or low-brass, without having to change something such as a gas valve, recoil spring, etc. Some newer semi-auto designs are less fickle, but they're the exception rather than the rule. Basically, simpler = better.

  • @DumbDuck44 You avoid gun ban issues that come with auto loaders. Also with different sizes of shells & Types of non leathals; you run into to cycle issues.

  • Dude, That wasn't a bad vid at all. nice job

  • see if it feeds aguila mini shells for me when you run it (if you still have it). that would put me on the pre-order list for sure

  • What a nice review with excellent lighting and camera work, just the right length, too. You are very good at this.

  • I've been waiting for this gun for quite a bit now. It is on my list to finish out my arsenal. Others are a 10mm auto carbine (yet to be released), a .327 Fed mag lever action (yet to be released), and an M53. Maybe an M95 or M82A1, if I ever get that sort of crazy money.

  • is this ur personal gun?? i didnt know they were on the market yet?

  • @BDBakaJR They are not on the market yet. This is a test and evaluation gun.

  • release date?

  • Seems to be a well thought out design.

  • very nice review! Have you had a chance to fire it yet?

  • @Strom63 Not yet but soon, very soon. We are putting together some interesting (we think) scinarios to test this unique weapon. We will post the video when we are done.

  • very impressive shot gun!!

  • Sweet!!

  • I really like this shotgun but the price will make it one that I will never own. Great video.

  • Great video!

  • Looks sweet how much is that doggie ?

  • @splinterman9 MSRP reported to be $800 once they are released.

  • I've been "Jones'in" for this shotgun ever since I saw your video at Shot!
