Dled game demo for 360 (total size 500+ megs) I've gotten better graphics out of my fx 5200 on pentium 2 playing BF 1942 then 1943 on 360, the game fucking sucks starting from graphics up to availability of only 3 presset classes. I don't understand how they want this game to compete with COD series, BF bad company, or other massive online shooters.

there are very few tweaks that bf1942 needed, and i cant say ive enjoyed the bf series nearly as much as 1942. hopefully the gameplay of 1943 will mimic that of the original game.

The game will be small, because there will be so many details. The buildings and vehicles will be fully destructible, so when one player destroys a wall, the game have to send a huge amount of data to the other players, to make sure that the wall is destroyed in exactly the same way. If the game should support 64+ players AND these features, no one would be able to play the game because of lag.

No, screw you! The new Battlefield engine blows. HARD. With destructible enviroments there's not enough memory to have more than 32 players on a BIG map. unless someone knows something i don't i'm extremely disappointed with dice because it's only 24 player max on each board and they are only releasing Wake, Jima, and Midway. Available download only. 12/12 on these maps is going to suck because the maps are so big if they are the same size as in '42. In a FAQ dice execs said they felt that BF servers of 32+ weren't as popular as the smaller servers which i felt was total bullshit. long live the 64 player server---forget this 12 on 12 stuff.

This game will be for free and only contain 3 pacific maps (exactly as the WW2 Mod of Battlefield Vietnam some years ago) ... so people will accept these limits to do their first experiences with the new Frostbite engine on the pc. I guess the new engine also needs lots of resources.
