I love how their culture is not based on money, but on helping each other. They grow food together, build houses together, hunt together and live in peace together. They value family & happiness more than money. We could learn a lot from them.
My grandfather was Tom and was in the Navy during WW2 in the South Pacific, so I joke with my family sometimes that they are looking for him.
Pretty sure he was just an "E" class though and his job was burying corpses and his hobbies included drinking vodka, drinking beer, drinking whiskey, and drinking more vodka. So I doubt he played a role in the diplomatic relations with the indigenous folks they encountered.

I feel sorry for these people becuase they want to create peace in america but they cant becuase thier are som many complications with our country its not as simple as thier island society. the vow to thier people and tom navy to make peace in america but people just laugh their butts off at them.
