  • Heyy way kind of Plymouth is it cuz Iam 16 and dis guy is selling a 68 Plymouth roadrunner ner wear I live and I want the exact model u have cuz my dads a mechanic and he's gonna fix it up for me 4 my first car cuz I wanted the old car cuz if I fix it up like the one in the vid it would look awesome !:)

  • What kind of exaust?

  • i have a 318 in my 69 satellite im building a 440 for it, my dad bought me indy aluminum cyclender heads (:

  • What the color called?

  • @56oldssuper88 grey

  • @iplayveryloud oh forreal dang.........smh.

  • love it

  • amazing car!

  • where did you find the shackles, i cant find them anywhere for my car!

  • Even IF it isn't a RoadRunner it is still a SWEET ride nice looking and sounds good for a 318.

  • This car was my pride and joy!!!!!! I LOVED it..it was so beautiful..Wow did I miss it..:(

  • wheres the posi

  • hey do u still have the 440?

  • +1 for the cartoon characters!!!

  • beautiful... absolutely beautiful!

  • Sounds good, man. i sold my '68 hell I gave it away. I still cry myself to sleep at night over it. Damn!

  • I don't know about haulin' around the weight of a B body, but, the 318 in my Dart was good for low 14's. You just have to use the right parts. The Magnum heads were the best investment I ever made!

  • wow thats a great sounding 318 =D

  • My very first car was a 12 month old '68 383 Road Runner. This car is a made-over Sport Satellite (notice the bucket seats and console) with a hood from a Roadrunner. Road Runner interior looked like it was out of a taxi cab.A 318 small block engine is not a performance motor no matter what you do to it - however the stuffed animals add 10-15 more horsepower. The Road Runner 383 was assembled using high-performance 440 cylinder heads, camshaft and exhaust manifolds producing 335 horsepower.

  • hope you have understanding neighbors

  • DAMN, I really REALLY gotta get rid of the 273 in my Satellite!! at this point even this 318 would be enough for me!!

  • Well if you are interested I have 76' 440 and 727 3 speed auto transmission for sale.

  • HongKongFooy1 . I was thinking about this 383 on ebay... but I don't need it any more. check it out

  • @HongKongFooy1 You'd be better off saving your cash and buying a 400 or greater wedge crate

  • Awsome the road runner takes the coyote for a ride

  • Nice! Did it originally have a 383?

  • srry mate not a 383, notice the distributors not in the front in the rear like all small block mopars

  • No, my question is: Did it originally (as in new) have a 383 or a 426 hemi?

  • would you sell this car?

  • that's so sick its disgusting!

  • The grille is correct for 1968 except the roadrunners grille's where painted a flat gray or black color, and all the roadrunners came with a big block. Even if this is a Satellite it is still a gorgeous car, I wish mine was in that condition.

  • if this is a roadrunner then where did the big block go? also the satelitte grill is off... along with the incorrect paint on the decor package? also wat about the lack of emblems... looks like a clone to me

  • 318's distributors are in the back, 383's are in the front

  • actually all Chrysler small blocks have the distributors in the back and all big blocks have them in the front.

  • nice Satellite!

    i like the color!!!

  • this is probably a Satellite... if it's a Road Runner the first digits of the VIN will be RM23H9 then the letter A is most likely, signifying the plant it was built at. Most RR's were built at the Lynch Road plant in Hamtramck, MI

  • my '68 Road Runner's VIN is RM21H8G...

    RM= Road Runner (RL= Belvedere, RH= Satellite, RP= Sport Satellite, RS= GTX)

    21= 2-dr coupe (23= 2-dr hardtop)

    H= 383 HP engine (J= 426 Hemi)

    8= 1968 (9= 1969, 0= 1970...)

    G= St. Louis, Mo (A= Lynch Rd., Detroit, Mich., E= Los Angeles, Ca)

  • mine is RM21H8A.... mine was built on 9-8-67... it was the 1937th road runner built. I love RoadRunners !!

  • Nice clean car, love the neutral color.

  • Nice Satellite. 3 engines put into Roadrunners in 68, 383, 440, and hemi. I worked at a Plymouth dealer then. Those were GREAT days.......

  • in `69 you could get only a 383 or a hemi.. mid way thru 69 the 440+6 came out.

  • Midway through 1969 is still 1969.

  • the Road Runner 440+6 was called a `69 1/2.

  • you are correct professor

  • actaully in 68 the 440 wasn't available, only the 383 and hemi

  • exactly. The 440 was found in it's fancy-pants brother the GTX (which I would kill to own) I LOVE GTX's

  • The Plymouth GTX was so named as the car to demolish the Pontiac GTO. Which it handily did on the street and the track. But unfortunately not so in the show rooms.

  • What do you mean in the show rooms?

  • The GTX didn't sell all that well

  • The Roadrunner did though!

  • Most buyers opted for the cheaper Roadrunner.

  • ohh I see what you mean

  • Doesn't matter!

  • Nice old runner. I'll take it!!

  • None the less, nice looking car...

  • Doesn't a 318 make it a satellite? The base engine for the RR was a 383, and the 383 and 426 were the only engines offered in 1968...
