In an unprecendented move, the producers of The Pirate Queen have give the performance rights on a one off basis to Ballinrobe Musical Society. They will perform the show between 11th and 20th Feb in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. Ireland ( where Grace O'Malley is from and where the story is set). Another opportunity to catch this amazing show!!

As much as I enjoy those kinds of musicals as guilty pleasures, I'd love to see a multi-layered play like this get a better shot. Unless it takes up a tour--does anyone know if it will--Or is it too late now?
