Yeah those cluster bombs were pretty wicked man, most of 'em filled with incindiary built for one sole purpose. To burn entire cities to ash and rubble, Which was a vaible tactic during the second world war, and into vietnam. Back then "Dumb" weapons could never be as precise as necessary to kill single small targets ( cars , trucks, tanks, people ) So they dropped hundreds upon thousands, in an effort to destroy EVERYTHING in a 5 mile radius from whatever was to be destroyed. I've listened to a lot of Death Metal, but Bolt Thrower are just perfect. They've got (in my opinion) one of the most underrated drummers in the world, I mean, he may not be insane with the drum solos, but I don't think I've heard better drum rhythm ever, the riffs are just, majestic, the vocals are heavy and reflect the lyrical matter. Bolt Thrower. The Gods of Death Metal.

Games Workshop supplied Artwork for their 2nd and 3rd albums, not sure about their first. Apparently members of the band were keen Warhammer players/collectors (not sure if they are now). And their name might have been inspired by a weapon in the original Warhammer game, although they might have just read a history book and gotten their name from there (Bolt Thrower was a medieval siege weapon? not sure, sounds about right though)!
