  • pretty good, it sounds joyful :D

  • love it.......lots

  • Great song! Thanks for uploading!

  • Another American hit lost to the British Invasion. An inferior cover once again won out.

  • @tas6010 Hi, Just wanted to say YOU GOT THAT WRITE !

  • This original version sounds more motown like than any of their previous records and as for Manfred Mann's remake more to the beat sound even though its still R&B based.

  • Never heard this before. Like it

  • Great to hear this version. I remember how it was overshadowed by Manfred Mann's cover in 1964. Shame Shame!

  • SHA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA WAIT I FORGOT TO DO THIS SHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAA LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!! LOL!!

  • You can convert this or any youtube video to an mp3 at audiogetnow..com

  • I only knew this song by Manfred Mann in the 1960s (just like I didn't know the Exciters' version of "Do Wah Diddy", or for that matter, Bob Dylan's version of "The Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo)"). Only in the past four years did I learn that the Shirelles did it earlier. And this is the first time I've heard it. The Ventures do a great instrumental version, probably inspired by the Manfred Mann version.

  • I remember The Ventures' version. It was the last song on their "Knock Me Out!" album.

  • One of my fave Shirelles songs, its so joyous!

  • Haven't heard this for a hundred years!! Thanks for posting....
