this might be a really dumb question but I really want to get into making 3 dimensional characters and what wondering what programs you use to create the actual character

This is really nice. I thank you! I have been told that postwork can make my images look better, but I have no real experience in those programs that do so. It is also difficult to know what will improve things and what will not. You explained the reason for the alterations and the tools in layman's terms and I found that extremely helpful.
