Coming from someone who's played for six years...I definitely disagree. Covers are not suppose to be like the creator. If they were, I wouldn't listen to anyone but the Shins Version...because there'd be no point. I think the Shins might look at this song and be like...hey...lets try this tempo...she might be onto something.

your playing is wonderful both on the instrument and in your vocals however NEVER practice without a metronome. the shins do it at about 120. i say this because your tempos aren't entirely solid. i will get tons of shit for this comment because narrow minded retards can't recognize constructive criticism and advice. even if it comes from a professional musician...keep at it girl you rock my world !
