Come on as the one being chased hitting obstacle, spinning, having to brake to avoid totaling the car, avoiding gun fire etc. you're not going as fast as your chaser who in this case has the driver just following JB and avoiding the wrecks he's creating while there are other guys shooting. I'm aware that the Alfa Romeo can't keep up with the Aston in performance.

Either the Alfa is tuned pretty much, the Aston is a hybrid or Bond simply drives slowly. I can't imagine any other reason for the Aston not being to escape on the empty roads :D
