It is over three years ago that this very evocative and touching interpretation for all three verses (or strophes) has been posted. It should be noted, that this Reger adaptation is not based on Bach but on the music composed by Johann Rudolph Ahle (1625-1673) from Mühlhausen in Thuringia in 1644.
I love the suggestion that you should perform DIY on the music desk on such a priceless antique organ as this. Lovely playing....thank you. It is such typically thoughtful playing, so typical of the Netherlands. I have spent much time in the lovely Netherlands and played some of the best organs....sadly not this one.
I have been enjoying all your videos! It appears that you really put your all your feelings and emotions into your playing! Definitely played in the Spirit of Bach! Great to see younger people your age pursuing and mastering the pipe organ! Keep up the wonderful work!
Very nicely done! Played with feeling for the music! Bach has such a depth in his organ music. What a beautiful instrument to play on. I wish i had a chance to play some of those organs. My parents originally come from the Netherlands (Friesland). Kollum and Sneek. Dad remembers the organs so well! They have a such a lasting effect.
Your passion for music and the organ shows through in all you wonderful videos. Thank you for sharing your tremendous talent and the link to the organ site for the great photos of the organ. We on youtube are so fortunate for your willingness to share. Looking forward to your future posts when you can. In the meantime I'll savour all your present videos.
This is so so cool. Today's my 55th birthday and I log on to YouTube and you've got three new videos posted for us to watch. Beautifully played. You've made my day :)
Hi! Where can I find Reger´s version? What´s the Opus-Nr?
I love your very fine and expressive playing!

I prefer your body position at 1;44.
Leaning forward and peering at the score leads to disequilibre.
If the music desk is too low, a litlle DIY may be called for.
I wonder why we hear so little Flor Peeters these days?

... to slowly :( ... 90er tact please :)

@ParaBTF:
