  • Brilliant! God bless you, Samuel!

  • As a professional organist, you sounded amazing!!!!! The piece you played was perfect, and you have a god given gift my friend!!!! GOD BLESS, well done!!

  • Hey Man. I'm the organist at a catholic church as well. As a sign of respect to the organist, the choir is supposed to sit and wait until the postlude is completed. I hope maybe some of the other choirs at this church show you a tad bit more appreciation.

  • imperfections? Psh as always your videos are super amazing! =)

  • I agree with Mr. Hoffman . Imperfections??? Where are they--in the organ bench?? Super amazing is good for starters.

    david.

  • if you said that had some imperfections i really want to know what it sounds like without them... it sounded great......

  • Very well done. You had NO IMPERFECTTIONS!

  • Very good, much appreciated!

  • Do those people realize that have an good organist? As you head to college and beyond, I hope you find people to appreciate you more than this congregation.

  • Hey - nice job of playing this piece!

But it annoys me that the ppl in the church are making more noise then the organ:) Do they have any cognizance of where they are - or why they are going to mass? Yeesh!

Ppl in a theater after a movie are quiet, and leave talking very softly or whispering....not practically shouting at each other as they are doing here!

  • @19lfm12 ha Mas è sempre assim na minha comum tambem eles nào dão um minutinho ;vão saindo fazendo barulho ;quer ver as velhinhas entào aguarram beijam se nào sabe se acaba de tocar ou sai correndo ...............

  • Not bad at all for such a short acquaintance with the piece.

It's a very satisfying work to play and worth spending some time on.

If you want some ideas on interpretation there are (at least) two excellent performances on YouTube - Piet Kee at the Laurenskerk, Alkmaar and Matteo Imbruno at the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam.

  • Great job! Thank you for sharing.

  • You did great!

  • Very nice, Sam. Hope the finals went as well. :) Rick
