i'm not saying she hasnt got a good voice.. she does. i just dont think it sounds good along with this song.. the music is quite Joni Mitchelly which is nice, maybe i just love Dylans original too much.

If you love the original then maybe this might not be your cup of tea but its both a respectful and intriguing re working of a classic song by an artist who began her career in traditional music.

Oh, by the way this is the title track of a1992 Barbara Dickson album made up entirely of Bob Dylan songs!!!

It was filmed at Dungerness in Kent. It was directed, I think, by the photographer, Brian Aris who can be seen in the video. He's the man walking along the tracks. He's wearing the same coat Barbara wears at the beginning of the film. Not a big budget production but it looks fantastic and has a very 'American' feel to it. And with a voice like BD's - she could sing the telephone directory and still be wonderful
