All it takes is a few play of this game, and the switch from xbox 360 to PS3 becomes a reality, at least for me. And I can't be happier with the decision. PS3 just owns 360 in too many meaningful categories and therefore is a much superior product. This game is a definite and fat Plus in the argument.
And guys, if anyone wants Gw3 in retail box, take a look at my video. I found a way to hack a retail promo for this game, and so far has gotten 4 full games. Easy pickings for me or you.
All the xbox 360 owners just need to play this game once, and you will be hooked. I did, and I was just amazed at the intense and immense gameplay experience that GOW3 offers. I quickly packaged by COD and Halo+360 and sayonara! PS3 has too many advantages to list, and this game is just worth the switch!
BTW, if anybody wants to make quick $30 or just get this game for free, check the video I uploaded today. I hacked the offer for this game, got myself 2 copies, kept one and sold another one

God of War III will be hard-pressed to have bosses bigger than those in Bayonetta. Sure, Devil May Cry 3 and 4 were impressive, as were those in GoW 1 and 2, but Bayonetta's bosses just redefined 'huge'.

Yeah...but the bosses in 'Netta had incredible deaths too. The final boss...God...I don't want to spoil it for you, but I'll say this - the finale was just plain untouchable. Better than any finale in God of War, Devil May Cry or even Shadow of the Colossus. I'm serious. I'm not a Bayonetta fanboy or anything - but that last boss, especially the death sequence, is currently unrivalled.

I don't know what there is an argument here. The online play is better on the 360. The game differences between the two are hardly worth mentioning. There's equal title balance. Really. You think Halo 3 is worth bragging about? Hardly. PS3 failure rates are determined to be around 12% since launch. 360 is up to around 63% since launch. The PS3 is going to have God of War 3. Which makes it win. So stop arguing. I bought a PS3 over a 360 because I could put a 320 gig hard drive in it. :)
God Of War is made by Sony Santa Monica. Sony owns the studio that makes God of War and owns the franchise itself, so it will never be ported or made for any other system. The game is tailored for full use of the PS3's cell processor and it's Blue Ray capabilities. Can it be done on the Xbox 360 absolutely but don't expect the same quality.

In terms of exclusive games it doesnt really matter. Both xbox and PS3 have the same amount of games that u would call system sellers(really good exclusive games). For me I like the xbox more, but my opinion doesn't matter that much. In the end it all depends on which is ur preference. I like the xbox and Louis43thebeastmast clearly likes the PS3. I don't think tnis is an issue that should really have any bearing on your life.
I own a Xbox 360 and a Ps3 and I play the xbox way more. All of my friends own xbox's, some own PS3s ttoo but we only really play on xbox live. PSN is terrible and the entire dashboard for the PS is not as intuative as the Xbox. Xbox feels more organic to use, more ergonomical, while the PS3 feels mechanical and cold. Though PS3 is more reliable and sturdier(graphics are slightly better on some games) it just isn't as fun to play on for some reason. Also PS controllers suck ass.
Ok i own a 360 and PS3 and i will admit the PS3 is a much more powerful machine and ALOT more reliable plus the online play is free. However 1 month to get a new 360 from Microsoft isn't majorly inconvenient when it does breaks down and the online is only $50 a year. Yes PS3 online is free but only because its so shit no-one would pay for it. I would happily pay $50 a year to get the online features on my xbox on the PS3 (unless you enjoy typing a message with the analog stick).
@charleswatson33 you dont have to use a control stick you can by a little controller key pad take a random key board around the house and plug it in the usb port and i dont understand why every one hates the online menu its all labled you dont have to search for an hour just to find stuff ps3 is very convient and also you can blame microsoft for alot of stupid shit like not being able to play music during games cause they pattend it when the first x box came

God Of War is made by Sony Santa Monica. Sony owns the studio that makes God of War and owns the franchise itself, so it will never be ported or made for any other system. The game is tailored for full use of the PS3's cell processor and it's Blue Ray capabilities. Can it be done on the Xbox 360 absolutely but don't expect the same quality.

In terms of exclusive games it doesnt really matter. Both xbox and PS3 have the same amount of games that u would call system sellers(really good exclusive games). For me I like the xbox more, but my opinion doesn't matter that much. In the end it all depends on which is ur preference. I like the xbox and Louis43thebeastmast clearly likes the PS3. I don't think tnis is an issue that should really have any bearing on your life.

I own a Xbox 360 and a Ps3 and I play the xbox way more. All of my friends own xbox's, some own PS3s ttoo but we only really play on xbox live. PSN is terrible and the entire dashboard for the PS is not as intuative as the Xbox. Xbox feels more organic to use, more ergonomical, while the PS3 feels mechanical and cold. Though PS3 is more reliable and sturdier(graphics are slightly better on some games) it just isn't as fun to play on for some reason. Also PS controllers suck ass.

Ok i own a 360 and PS3 and i will admit the PS3 is a much more powerful machine and ALOT more reliable plus the online play is free. However 1 month to get a new 360 from Microsoft isn't majorly inconvenient when it does breaks down and the online is only $50 a year. Yes PS3 online is free but only because its so shit no-one would pay for it. I would happily pay $50 a year to get the online features on my xbox on the PS3 (unless you enjoy typing a message with the analog stick).

Halo 2 was good too. But it's not just because the 360 was out first, I was excited for the Ps2 (I was a sony fan boy when I was like 13) because the PS2 was genius. But the PS3 just has some shit games devs don't put much effort into. Luckily, the games are getting better for the console. Much better.

Yes, PS3 also has harddrive failure that can't be fixed. Xbox 360 gets a red ring that Microsoft will repair regardless of warranty on the console being over or not, so long as you don't void the warranty by breaking the sticker Microsoft will pay for the shipping and handling and repair your 360 completely.

Actually they do fix it because it's the hardware failure itself. They repair the 360's red ring regardless of warranty, so long as the silver sticker inside is unbroken. I've had my 360 repaired by them a year after my warranty was up.
