I really love your videos. I am a new nurse with a public health background and I am always washing my hands, wiping off counters, etc. Am I going over board? I also take of my uniform in the garage before I go into the house. How do you try to stay clean without being manic about it??
@easternstar12 There is nothing wrong with wanting things to be clean. I had a friend who did the same thing. She even went as far as keeping another pair of shoes in her trunk and putting them on before she got in the car. I thought it was funny. I'm not that paranoid. Washing hands is always the best idea to prevent spread of germs. But do whatever makes you feel good about the situation.
Hi, thnx for the review, but how do you assess the patients skin (their back) while laying supine when lets say they had hip dislocation and currently in immense pain. thx again :)
@shaddowx75 Good question. It's hard when they have had surgery or are in pain, but since we have to change their position Q2 hours anyways to prevent skin breakdown, we can get a peek during that time.
