I think the problem is once someone's set the bar, or done it first, every one else with a similar style, even if it genuinely IS his own, just looks like a copycat. Unfortunately there are just a few ways to truly be original.
A motivational speech includes all the elements that can create impact on the people listening to it. Apart from being interesting, it makes the audience think for a positive change.
I got nothing out of that what so ever..... not even a laugh.
