It's a coold guide but its more for begginers, and people new to demonsouls, this is great since demon souls is a very hard game in a sence and theres not much Intro guides out there, whatever the downfalls of this guide your character makes up for it.
you want easy souls? you can just got to 4-2 and by beating 4-1 easily. at the beginning you can kill the reaper and get 5k souls each time. he's quicker gives more souls and is closer to the archstone. 4-1 isn't even hard so there's that.
It would be useful if the game wasn't so skill-dependant that you can complete any number of resets in a row without spending a single soul (I did 3 runs in a row and quitted it).
The best farming you can do in Demon's Souls is farming skill, learn to love dying and learn from those deaths, after a while you will find yourself rushing the whole game.
@zoza4 i know an even better one. but you have to screw up your world tendency and you have to be offline for it to work, you go to 4-3 and equip the ring of avarice, then you use soul thirst or soul sucker whatever it is called on the black phantom just before fighting the old hero.
demons souls is a crazy ass game. when i finished i was sad but then i was able to play again with the same items and lvls :) northern regalia ftw (demonbrandt + soulbrandt)
if you are a mage just do the same at the red skeleton but instead of going back to the fucking barrels just run away until he walks back to his begin spot, always hit him with flamethrower( or soul arrow (uses less mp) and then go back and do it again :p
@IAvinI one of the best ways to farm is to take the storm ruler, ring of avarice, and go to the storm king archstone bc that can get u over 100K after a while, and another is on NG+ with soulsucker, ring of avarice, thief's ring, and at the archstone right before storm king one and just sneak up on the BPs and cast soulsucker(and soulthirst if you want)

and uuhhh, try 4-2.., jump off or go down the stairs and go to the tunnel, equip your bow and make sure u have a min of 50 arrows, run till the end of the hall and quickly aim down with ur Bow and youll find the caster ((with a long compound bow+1 it takes 4-5 shots.., gives u ca4250 souls and takes u 5min to do) and the giant *Stingrays* give 1040 each

The advanced version of this (This is a good beginner v. don't get me wrong) but the good one for advanced players is the "Death" guy in the second level of the Shadowmen Archstone. Snipe him with Fire Arrows or even normal arrows, kill him, and his minions will die too giving you about 4-5k if you have normal tendency and 7k if you have pure black tendency. Nice idea with this though. Must try this!
this is great if u want to lvl up early game although i prefer 4-4 manta myself. Definitely dont want to get hit by that guy during this point in the game but u found a nice way of dealing with him

World 4-3 is the best for farming souls. After you beat the storm king, just use the storm ruler sword to kill all the storm beasts (flying manta rays). You'll get 40,000 + souls each time.
As you stated, this is a bit of a little trick for LOWER levels... but after around lvl 15 or so, 2000 souls doesn't cut it. Or 2,500 won't cut it, and the time you spent doing this trick won't be worth it. You're better off farming in 4-1 (Shrine of Storms).

this is great if u want to lvl up early game although i prefer 4-4 manta myself. Definitely dont want to get hit by that guy during this point in the game but u found a nice way of dealing with him

World 4-3 is the best for farming souls. After you beat the storm king, just use the storm ruler sword to kill all the storm beasts (flying manta rays). You'll get 40,000 + souls each time.

As you stated, this is a bit of a little trick for LOWER levels... but after around lvl 15 or so, 2000 souls doesn't cut it. Or 2,500 won't cut it, and the time you spent doing this trick won't be worth it. You're better off farming in 4-1 (Shrine of Storms).

if you have 4-2 unlocked you kill 1 guy and get about 5k+ (with no tendency) takes about 45 seconds?

Best way to do this is:
1- Get Magic to 10
2-Learn Soul Arrow
3-get Catalyst from 1-2 first post on the great wall/birdge
4- spam Soul arrow on the Red eye knight and his gaurd will be broken by the spell just cast it one more time or twice and he is dead
5- ???
6-profit

nice but i rather:
go world 1-3 , look behind you.. there are 2 blue knights there -> takes 30 seconds to kill them 400 souls each so 800/min
