I feel deprived. I dove Saba for a week a number of years ago and didn't see one shark! Lots of other critters, small animals, but no reef sharks. Guess I will have to go back someday.
I should also mention that this was filmed at a depth of around 30 meters. I dived on Nitrox and those sharks just stayed around for the full dive, about 30 minutes.
well, maybe is the common name in your island, im fron the dominican republic or hispaniola island, i sent you a page with many of the species of shark and fishes that are found in the caribbean, the blacktip shark (C. limbatus) have a very different snout and fins, and hace a little blacktip in the top of the fins, the caribbean reef shark (C. perezi) have a dusky or black lines thougth the fins.

i only have my open water certification and i plan on getting nitrlx certified would i be able to dive 30m?

These sharks are caribbean reef sharks (Carcharhinus perezi) not blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) exelent video.

i thought they were known as carribean black tip reef sharks, like there are black tip, grey tip, and oceanic white. Am i wrong or what.
