Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 100% Walkthrough Part 1 - A New Planet

Frickin' HATE bosses in this game. Not only do they have that awesome "Big, Bad, and Ugly" thing goin' on, but they have the "I'M GONNA KILL YOU IN THREE HITS!!!" vibe. The first few aren't bad, but starting with the Boost-Ball Guardian, things start getting tricky. It took me two tries to kill that thing, the second time I was down to my last 20-30 health points. There's like three in Torrvus Bog alone. And that's not counting the MAIN boss!

Prime 2 is way more congested than the first, but you gotta admit there are some sweet looking bosses in there =)

I'm just gonna come up here and say it. I didn't really like the metroid prime games. What? C'mon! I'm sorry! But hey listen! But I hope if I can get by with a walthrough to get farther than I was, I might be able to get into it. I dunno, I played through all of super metroid, so I don't really get it either.

IMO, only Prime 1 is better than Super Metroid. Did you play that? That one is the closest to the Super Metroid norm. Prime 2 and Prime 3 diverted from that (with the latter diverting quite a bit).

@ShadowMario3 Well I didn't get far but yeah I did. I dunno, I guess the whole 3d environment is a little overwhelming. And ironically, even though 3 is the most diverted, that's the one I got the farthest in. Huh.

Well, that makes sense since it literally tells you where to go. Prime 1 and Prime 2 don't do that, save for the optional Hint System.

I have 100% playthroughs of Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 from Metroid Prime Trilogy, so yeah, I have Metroid Prime Trilogy. I prefer the Gamecube versions though.

I kindly wish that there is ever a version that can approve for both GC and Wii version, with scan or not, with glitch or not, ever with items turn on or not (by turn on, you instant go straight to Crater without using the shit AR, etc.etc.), combine of anything that you can push your limitation beyond the imagine...

2 is the weakest of the trilogy. You have enemies like the mighty spinning torch and a 2 cm tall spider ball which somehow takes more hits than creatures 10 times it's size giving samus a run for her money. Stupid.

Yep, I made a 100% walkthrough for every Metroid game except for Hunters, Pinball (both due to no great way to record them yet) and Other M (which should have a 100% walkthrough by next year or so).

im really confused. I have all the missles, power bombs, beam ammo, energy tanks, weapon upgrades, and needless to say suit upgrades but the game says I have 99% items. is there an item you can only get in the dark temple?

Huh, weird. You sure you have 255 Missiles, 14 Energy Tanks, 10 Power Bombs, and 250 Beam Ammo? Do you have the other three missile combos (Darkburst, Sunburst, and Sonicboom)?

Nope. I don't really use walkthroughs at GameFAQs for the main game. This is just the main way I go all the time on normal runs, and don't really see other ways, lol.

Very awesome that you're finally starting this! I think this game is awesome too. As for the hardest bosses, I think those specific ones are overrated. :\
