@chaofreak8 Actually, the device I am using is an "Advance Game Port" with build-in Action Replay and "Cheat Construction Kit". It's not listed in the shop of the company that originally produced it anymore (perhaps they got into a fight with Nintendo), but I think Amazon might still have it.

No idea if the Action replay would work on the Game Boy Player.
