By the way, if anyone sees the record "Baby You Belong To Me" by The Magic Touch on Roulette Records, it IS NOT by the ORIGINAL MAGIC TOUCH. THAT "Magic Touch" was actually a later version of the Doo-wop group Vito and The Salutations.

No it is a nice song but I just thought that you might want to know that before buying something that may not be what you believe that it is.

Indeed, Marolyn Wright sang lead on this 1987 remake.Sadly, she died later that year without ever getting to see her version released, as "The Magic Touch & Friends" Cd wasn't released until 1998.

According to the producer Bill Seabrook, this is pretty much a sudio version with canned applause. And the lead singer on this version is not the same young lady who sang on the original recording. When I can find my CD "The Magic Touch & Friends', I'll name the vocalist.
