@ebeliz1114 I shall keep that in mind. I try to brush their hair about 2-3 times a week and trim it when it looks like it will get matted. Have you checked out my other vids on my channel? I have a 'playlist' entitled - Dalsch's Dogs, Hamsters, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs. I'm pretty sure you can find some vids of holding them.

@monogram906 Not sure -Toby was really the best, but alas he was a 'store bought' hammy. He was always very active and I made sure he didn't get too much greens - so he never got wet tail. He just went to sleep one night and I guess decided to cross over that little bridge. He made his mark in this world before he left. Hamsters usually only live about 4-5 years and Toby was about 3 years old when he passed. He had a full and loved life.

@11darkwater Syrain or Teddy Bear Hamsters CANNOT live in the same cage. They would kill each other. They are solitary little guys. The only ones that you can put in a cage together are the Dwarf hamsters.

i had to watch this...i had one teddy i named him RATATOUILLE..but he passed away the week of thanksgiving..such a clever little thing. never ran away from me, always sat in my hand...very patient and sweet. when i tried getting another hamster it wasn't the same, i had to get two more until the last one i just gave it back too and decided to not get more hamsters because the other hammys always bit, ran, and ran some more.(and they were young too) so i tried making them less aggressive but nope
