  • Not the prettiest demo I've seen but definitely a great colabo of the variations on your part. Like any situations, what works is what counts so what ur doing looks practical to be honest...and yes, you would choke me the hell out, lol. I do love your three techniques shown 2:47, 4:57 and 6:00. Thanks for posting this vid up :) BJJ all the way!!

  • what bullshit? yeah,ur oponent will let u go just like that as in 1st escape...

  • ur allright kenprimo man!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks.

  • Awesome techniques. Good to learn more and apply it in class. Thanks Ken

  • Pretty cool vid. I am a white belt 3rd stripe so today i am studying for escapes probably the whole weekend. lol

  • Posted twice. Sorry..

  • Great Video. Thanks for posting. I have trained in several different Asian arts and am relatively new to BJJ. My son trains with Bruno Bastos and is moving along quickly. I use videos to keep up with him. There are so many bad ones out there. Thought this one was great!

  • Ken thanks for posting these videos...

  • Thanks Ken, I used your #1 against my instructor. I certainly did not win, but used it to neutralize his attack and buy me time. Thanks, it works!

  • Hey Ken, awesome video, I just subscribed to your account, keep posting man, that is all gold thanks

  • 3:50 there is counter arm bar, never seen it before

  • Sweet, second escape in, and it is the one i need to learn the most

  • so wait im a nobody but are you hoping your opponent is that passive?

  • Very good video. Everything shown here works and has been tested in real fights and competitions. Thank you Ken. Whoever talks smack about it know nothing and never tried any of it.

  • Brazilian Ben Stiller

  • Nice video!muito bom!(from japan)

  • good!good!!good!!good!!!magnifique!!!

  • That is so funny when people who have probably never trained in their life try and correct a BJJ black belt, especially a black belt that won Naga, Pan Am and Masters World Championships. I am a BJJ blue belt and I have learned a lot from these videos. Pretty much when a purple, brown, or black belt try and show me something, i shut up and listen. But heck I have even learned things from White belts.

  • Great Vid... Everything he showed will work in real time competition.. Simplicity is almost always best. I like this video, use a lot of these excapes already, and gave me a few extra ideas. Thank you.

  • Dude you, the Submissions 101 cats, and that bald GrappleArts guy have helped my ass out so much with your tips. Even though my coach is top notch, I just didn't seem to get it and was damn near about to quit rolling because I got sick of getting abused on the mat. The guard breaks video was an especially big help. Keep them good vids coming player.

  • he looks like that actor from "Meet the Fockers"

  • Ken I Love your videos man...thanks for all the help. I do alot of sparring, nobody ever wants to drill with me, so when I make a mistake it usually goes undetected until my professor see's me make it. Watching your videos really helped me see a lot of mistakes I have been making and why some of my techniques don't work.

  • I train in Northern Ireland and find your videos really useful! A lot of us have watched them! I'm glad this escapes one is up as my escapes suck! :) this will help me work on that!

  • Thanks for the inspiration Ken! As always you deliver the good, keep up the good work.

  • @ 4:46 was some sick head movement

  • damn some people are know it alls, I have much respect Ken. I watch your vids alot because to me defense is a huge part of my jiu jitsu game. Im still a long long long way away but im learning new things everyday and my mind is open to all the different techniques, which makes this art so much more beautiful to not only watch but to be a part of. Thanks for posting your vids mate

  • @TiestoSRO u must be on drugs, show us your footage

  • You guys talk a lot of shit, but my money is on Ken with any of you. Sure not every move is going to work on every black belt and that's why there are so many others to try until one works. Granted Ken is no world champion, but I'm sure he could beat every single one of you guys who is talking smack. They aren't just handing out black belts unless the gym is a total joke, which means he knows his shit people. To bash a guy that is posting vids trying to teach people moves for free is BS.

  • @FanFkinTastic1 i am a pan am adult and world masters champion and naga black belt champion. thanks though

  • @kenprimo I am so sorry Ken, I guess I should have done my research before I said you were not a world champion. It just gives my point more validity that you know your shit being the true champion that you are. I commend you for posting so many informative vids for us to check out and learn from. I have used some of the moves with good results in class and appreciate what you do and respect your belt and the level you have attained in your BJJ training. How long have you been training?

  • @FanFkinTastic1 Im not saying it to brag, im just saying facts, regardless I appreciate your support. I will train with anyone anytime and i dont think i am easy to submit and i make my defense better each day by training technically. Believe me, i am not seriously defending myself from some internet nobody like the guy whos being negative. Thanks again

  • @FanFkinTastic1

That's real talk!! Only fags get on the internet and talk shit anonymously. If I was about to get jumped on by 5 dudes I'd take Ken on my side anyday. That dude will fuck somebody up.

  • Guys, just because you've never seen some of the stuff shown here doesn't mean it's ineffective. Especially if you have been doing bjj for a very short time, realize - there are a lot of techniques out there you haven't seen. Keep on training hard and smart everyone.

Thanks for the vid, Mr. Kenprimo.

  • @streetthug4life Only legitimate escape? Are you dumb or did you just start training? I know you may not believe it but there IS a counter to the Saulo escape.

  • @TiestoSRO Agreed, this video looks half assed. The only armbar escape I see working was was at 4:00 but he didn't even take the side control

  • @doggymustdoo the armbar escapes I assure you will work.... Simplicity is always good... Its a hard video to thoroughly understand unless you have been grappling for some time... You need to carefully watch his movements... Its all in the details, that most will miss with an uninformed eye. When you grapple a bit longer, you will see how good a lot of his escapes actually are... Again simplicity is best... Especially in competition.

  • @TiestoSRO

It is ...I think he did some of it tongue in cheek and is laughing at guys trying it ! Some of it is ok I guess , but I think your right.

  • someone has to teach that black belt how to tie his f*** belt...

  • This video is just great. It shows us perfect techniques to protect our selves. Thank you for uploading. 5*****

  • WOW Nice :)

  • Do you have a video that shows an escape from a cross body ride or a backmount escape?

  • yeah, ill try ans post some stuff, thanks

  • where is my KEN dvd series? great stuff. Love the format. back to back moves to showcase options.. bjj is about options!

  • if you ordered one it will be there, no doubt

  • Great video...

    Grazie!

  • Awesome stuff (again)!! Thanks!

  • Incredible. Very few people spend the time it takes to share the art like you do. Extremely grateful for your time and effort!

  • Mr. Ken I never took a BJJ class, but been in fights (childhood) where I have gotten beat up pretty good, because I didnot know how to escape. WOW, some of th techniques here are just so simple and easy to understand, makes me want to take BJJ now! 5 stars!!!!!!!!! Great vid!

  • That was one of the best vids on YT Ken.

My biggest complaint is guys on YT show to many subs and not enough escapes.

I would love to see another like it (escape from cross side please!).

I bet you are an awesome guy to learn from, I really like your style and I'm not just talking about the BJJ.

You seem to really love what you do and to share it.

I bet your students are very successful in their training.

  • Ken - once again my friend you don't disappoint!

Have you ever thought about doing a dvd set? I'll pre-order NOW!

  • I want More!!

    Please MORE!!
