I've really got to agree. I used to audit a bank with a lot of Amish customers. A few observations: 1) smelly people, 2) treat animals poorly, 3) are all pretty wealthy (I audited their loan files on occasion).

I have lived in an amish community my entire life. They really aren't that bad overall.  Most of them are very kind people, but there are some jerks among them, but you find that in any large group of people.

I wish people would leave the Amish Order alone. They are simple and plain people and do no harm to others. They do not want the attention given to them by tourists. Hard working, religious, and good people. We could learn a lot from them through their way of life.
