idk if these games count as educational, but persona thought me some interesting stuff, from norse gods to japanese goddesses, to stuff your teacher would ask you in school. GoW clarified greek gods more than persona, assassin's creed has characters that were actually real, from the pope rodrigo borgia to your fellow assassin nicolo machiavelli... and I learned a bunch of big words like hypocrite, incorrigible and albeit from video games as well.

Donkey Kong Jr Math never was released as an arcade game, where as Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. and Donkey Kong 3 were all released in the arcades long before their NES counterparts so it makes sense that it would be called 3. Just so you know.

Donkey Kong 3 isnt DK 4 because DK Jr. Math was a spinoff and not associated with the series....kinda like the halo games, after Halo 3 came about, 2 or 3 more games with the Halo name were released with NONE of them title Halo 4....now next year they are releasing a game called Halo 4 when in actuallity its the 6th or 7th game in the series

For some weird reason, I was a big maths nerd, and I actually liked this...for a very short time....then I realised...NO....just NOOOOOOOOOOO! No more! I would just go do real maths problems for school when I need it, and I had more "fun" doing that!

This just shows that taking video game characters famous for entertaining games, and throwing education with them just doesn't work. Another example is Mario Is Missing. I've heard that game, and Mario Time Machine, were bad games because they used education rather than trying to make it entertaining. It's like the Sonic games for that "Leapster." From what I've heard, the game used math like a roadblock, rather than having it flow with the gameplay. Truly fun edutainment is rare.
