Japan has some excellent aircraft...esp. the Nakajima "Frank"..and the Kawanishi "George". They couldn't match our (US) production due to lack of materials/bombings......,bigge­st weakness of Japanese design was they almost always used radial engines (with a few exceptions..and those proved troublesome...i.e. the "Tony". Also...lack of a four engine bomber in quantity.

But the designes...esp. the canard types were advanced.

Hi spanish111japan . They are from many different artists and many sales organizations. Go to Google and try "military aviation art" or "military aviation paintings." I think that's what I did.

@bestjonbon Thank you so much for putting together this collection of art. I really enjoyed it and, even if some of the music may not be technically accurate, that is missing the point altogether. What is wrong with giving tribute to those warriors who gave it all to preserve their country and culture? That's what our guys did afterall.

G'day, I have a long standing interest with japanese WW2 combat planes but I couldnt help spotting a pic of Bf 110 in full japanese markings. Obviously someones' wild imagination?

@dj17q The Germans actually supplied Japan a few 109s and 110's for evaluation purposes, as to their use in combat, I do not believed that happened at all.

You're absolutely correct. The background music is traditional Chinese. When I did this one, I didn't have any suitable Japanese music. I've got lots now.
