@MrKarlosfandango Just listened again, now i'm not sure. I think it might be a Sheepdog. Mine doesn't whistle like that at high boost gear changes.

@MrBUXCRU Now you mention it i don't think there is a dump valve on there. However mine makes that noise as well as the dump sound. Recently i've learnt the noise results from a shock wave that propagates inside the intake pipe. This is produced when the throttle plate closes and traps charged air between the closed throttle valve and compressor. This is not the sound of the oft misinterpreted wastegate "flutter". Nor is it the turbine blades "chopping" the stalled air, as some also maintain.
