  • so each train is a different difficulty setting?

  • ending - Choo Choo!

  • 0:16 - KABLOOK

  • oh no

  • Why, why do these games not make it to the West? :(

  • will this work on windows 7?

  • They should make a game of Thomas the Tank Engine VS the Shinkansen! I would play that all day!

  • Shinkansen 0 series, are the legend!

  • did you set it to english?

  • Con UNASUR es la mision encomendada por nuestros Sur Americanos desarrollar el TREN BOLIVARIANO DE ALTA VELOCIDAD TBAV Quito - Mocoa - Bogotá - Caracas - VICEVERSA

  • Looks like a train race.

  • Shinkansen are over-glorified. But who's complaining? They're awesome!

  • Great video. More fun than Formula 1 racing, and you can be on board! The Hikari is the fastest I have been on so far - roll on, Nozomi!

  • Shinkansen series 500 NOZOMI is a fastest on max speed 300 Km/h!

  • i freaking love bullet trains espically in japan because i someday hope to live there.

  • From my experience I like three of them. But for foreigner whom buy JR Rail Pass can travel with Kodama and Hikari with no limited but for Nozomi you must to buy another ticket.

  • This pisses all over British Railways. Why couldn't have we spent our money on improving our rail systems instead of fighting pointless wars? Our politicians are crooks and they're all the same!

  • @sp1k8

    Japanese governments are the same.

They spent our enourmous budget for ODA to give millions of dollars to China.

  • why can trainz have this what if thes two games had mix it would rock

  • Oh, and 30 people would rather stick with outdated technology than high-speed rail.

  • hi very good

  • hai i am shahar vere good

  • The Shinkansen is definitely the best high-speed train around! And I agree with what @archimech1138 says: 新幹線一番!

  • German:

trusting in Japanese Technolgy as German shall doing it by theirselves....

  • Now i know why Americans don't like to ride the trains because our trains are ugly, loud, uncomfortable and slow. If we had trains like in Japan, people would take it often!

  • @Quy4life Plus General Motors removed most of the already-built and planned railway network that would have made it so much easier to travel for everyone. Capitalism destroys every good thing, and eventually the rest of the planet.

  • Smooth, quiet and relaxing travel at 300 km/h during sunrise, watching the incredible mountains and landscapes while a cool ambient music playing in your ears!.... *melting*

  • how's it in english even if in japan

  • Is there a Shinkansen series 600 ?

  • Great! It is a super video

  • What the hell is this video?A train simulation?

  • @grscrd69e25h856v It is the intro for the game "Densha de Go! Shinkansen", which is part of the "Densha de Go" line. Great games, very realistic but not to the point of boredom. They have the perfect balance of 'realism' and 'gameplay elements' to make it a challenging and enjoyable ride (pun intended). Especially the Shinkansen version has splendid scenery and good sense of speed. To make a perfect stop exactly on time and only one meter too far after 300km/h ride is really satisfying.

  • i love all the train!!!

  • amazing animation looks like orgional

  • japan is fast but the us is show japan need to be fast if ther is a war ther train can past plane or tank gun go japan go in the us is big

  • Клево!

  • i love this clip

  • i know a little chap who is sure to like this!

  • i love it

  • Heh, TGV the Shinkansen rivals!

  • @myLcosplaysucks This game has been ported to PS2, Wii, Windows and perhaps even some other platforms. I am playing the Windows version - works just fine with Windows XP, except that it crashes sometimes. (Densha De go Final is more stable in this regard)

  • pardon my ignorance but how is this a game?

  • @barbs19788 How can such ignorance be pardoned? To answer your question: easily.

  • YEAH!

  • Japan ftw

  • Are you stupid naturally, or is it something you've had to practice?

  • lol sorry i dont see your point

  • London trains are too small. Did it not occur to you that they are that size, because if they were any bigger, they wouldn't fit in the tunnels?

London Underground is the oldest in the world, so of course it was not designed for the needs of the modern world.

  • @edsheadsaid How (and why) does one practice stupidity? Never heard of such a thing.. I think stupid people are stupid, because they have no choice.

  • Japan Rail Ticket I love youuuuu

  • Barcelona, 17-IX-09. ¡Qué montaje más guay!. De todos los trenes de Alta Velocidad japoneses que circulan, los que más me gustan son los Nozomi serie 300 y la serie 500. ¡Ooooooh, espectaculares!. Gracias: Xavier Maraña.

  • I like the 300 Hikari

  • @KYLEAIRWAYS Hikari series is ok, but how can anything be more beautiful, elegant, futuristic, fast and just state of the art than 500 Nozomi?

  • I went a week ago with shinkansen from Yokohama to Osaka.

  • "are you not getting high speed rail in china?"

Yep, and guess what? For at least one of the lines they decided that yes, Shinkansen would be the best idea. The first CRH2 trains are basically repainted E2s. The rest are made in China to Japanese specs (they work like Japanese E2s would but they look more "Chinese" on the inside). Yes, this is among others, like the Velaro (CRH3) and the Pendolino(CRH5). And this isn't WWII anymore.

  • No Doctor Yellow?

    I am Disappoint.

  • Wrong on all counts. Shinkansen can run 100km/h faster, it has had fewer accidents, and better? Where's the to-the-minute punctuality?

  • Real Shinkansen can't reach this speed becoz this is just CGs...

But I like to see you try on Shinkansen. You will know how Shinkansen fast it is.

  • @Abu260892 There are many Shinkansen trains, 500 Nozomi can go up to 300 km/h. Of course the intro is mostly just rendered graphics, but that doesn't prove that 'real shinkansen can't reach this speed' - especially since you do not mention what "this speed" is in your opinion. They are actually planning to bring the Maglev-trains to public usage - they can go up to 500 km/h. So I think you are wrong. In the game you can go over 300 km/h easily.

  • Have you read about the safety record? It's been over 40 years and NO ONE has died from it. Statistically speaking, cars and planes are more dangerous.

  • No, what they are is safe.

  • they look at a plane !

  • @basileandvideo You mean they look LIKE a plane? Actually, most planes do not look as cool and aerodynamic, futuristic and interesting as the Shinkansen trains. Concorde was the only exception in the passenger plane designs.. you could say Shinkansen is the Concorde of trains.

  • I love High speed train...

  • Awesome modeling and CG.

    Shinkansen Ichiban!

  • JR 300 HIKARI AND 500 NOZOMI rockz!!!where to download tis video to phone

  • very cool!!! I am lucky I have taken all of them! they look better in real life! really coool!

  • Great video..I had a 2 week Green JR Pass. Once I got to Japan and boarded the 1st Shinkansen at that point I thought I was in the worlds biggest amusment park. "I wanna go on it again!!!"

  • 0 series and 100 series Shinkansen looks good. They are old fashioned Shinkansen trains

  • @JUSTINCUETO That's why they look clunky and ugly compared to the newer models. 500 Nozomi is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Since when is 'primitive' synonyme for 'beautiful' anyway?

  • Nozomi is d only 1 dat lookz futuristic in dis footage.. osm animation..

  • как же это красиво!

  • JR - 500 West Japan

    Nozomi is The Best Forever..

  • kodama and all hikaris are best, i like though Max the most nozomi is ok..

  • Really impressive! One of them, 0 series Kodama finished last December, but 0's technology has developed and other ones run faster.

  • I rode on Nozomi from Kyoto to Tokyo!!!!!!!!

Dude, it was the smoothest ride ever, smoother than cars, boats, airplanes, mechanical bulls. I'm serious. it's insane.

  • Great trains!

  • 700 NOZOMI looks the best

  • N700 Nozomi is better!

  • @EAFSQ9 700 Nozomi's look like ducks, and their top speed is not as high as 500 Nozomi's. Thus, 500 Nozomi is superior in all levels - speed, beauty, comfort, elegance, futurism.. it almost looks like a spaceship!

  • cool =) ... i want it

  • Cool vid and a FAB channel:)

  • Cool ! This is one of my favorite train games .

    the best is trainz . I love nozomi 500 , hikari 300 and kodama 0 & 100 .

  • Very dramatic at the beginning.

  • 1.03 THE SHOE TRAIN leng like a shoe speed like a shoe and weight like a shoe :D

  • what Shinkansen, means?

  • "New Trunk Line"

    Or look at Wikipedia.

The portugese article about the Shinkansen seems to be big and informative.

  • @animalica Interessante: Onde fico o artigo em língua Portuguesa acerca da Shinkansen?

  • @animalica shinkansen means "bullet train".

  • @slade2040 it the name of this railway it a real rail why but in japan am a big fan of trains

  • @slade2040 It means bullet train.

  • @slade2040 literally, a bullet train.

  • Comment removed

  • @shydog1231 shinkansen in japanese is written 新幹線、you will probably encounter more those kanjis than the word in hiragana.

  • @shydog1231 新幹線

  • @shydog1231 Shinkansen doesn't mean bullet train. "Bullet train" is just what the english-speaking world calls the trains, because the first models looked like a bullet. Shin = new, kansen = trunk line. (translate these separately: 新 (new) and 幹線 (trunk line, main line)

  • このゲーム急激に欲しくなった

  • what game is this?

  • nozomi is so cool design man

  • I like to Hikari Rail Star trains.I've got an idea of seeing Rail Star trains with double decker cars, like on the 100 series kodama.

  • Sorry, not kodama, hikari.

  • i love that opening

  • THe 0 and 100 started it all and the 300, 500, and 700 perfected it. Their groundbreaking designs push the envelope on train travel

  • Yeah, but they dont do it in a way that respects the 0 and 100.

Y'know. The originals on which most are founded today.

  • @peepeevagi Well, the "originals" are slow, ugly and clunky - they are like elephants of trains, if 500 Nozomi is like a gazelle of trains. Or if the 500 Nozomi is Bruce Lee, then the originals are like old sumo wrestlers.

  • @Gmoooba They're still not as cool or as important to the history than the 0 and 100 D:<

  • 新幹線 = shinkansen = Bullet Train

  • Shinkansen in English means "New Trunk Line" not bullet train.

  • its Not an actual Translation either.

"new trunk line" is another name for it.

My dictionary & other programs have said

"Bullet Train" Like Densha = train

    or chikatetsu = subway

  • Well its not "bullet train" "bullet train" is just a popular english term for the shinkansen i never use the word "bullet train' i always call it the Shinkansen

  • So desu ka

  • @Raymasaki It's actually "Sou desu ka" in romaji. You have to indicate the longer 'o' somehow, because it makes a big difference whether it's a long or a short wovel in a word. "Sô" might be acceptable as well, and some would even say "Soo" - but in my opinion, it's best to use romaji that is close to hiragana, so it's easier to write correctly in kana mode as well.

  • @Gmoooba I know that!

I sometimes just don't use the extedned O.

Like many people will write TOKYO.

when its Toukyou. Believe me i know it & have been using Global writer since 2002

  • i wouldnt like to be inbetween them two trains

  • the suction forces created when 2 shinkansen trains pass eachother is enormous, you can feel and hear it slightly even from inside one of the trains as they pass. anything standing between the two trains would probably be sucked into the side of one of the trains due to the intense vacuum created.

  • @itsumonihon "Intense vacuum"? Can you explain the difference between an 'intense' vacuum and a 'non-intense' vacuum?

  • @Gmoooba uhh any vacuum that's not intense

  • すごい!

    曲がカッコイイ。

    原曲教えてほしいっす

  • 私も曲が欲しい!!

  • This is a work of ART!!

  • 電車でGO! series are the best train simulation games, Microsoft is far far away with that Train Simulator (which was a good game but it's too old now)...

  • @renjida19 Btw, I recommend playing "Tokyo Bus Guide 2" for a similar experience, but with a bus instead of a train, and being able to travel inside the city of Tokyo (including Shibuya) driving a bus.. and you don't even have to steer if you don't want to (believe me, it's challenging enough even without steering)..I never saw the point of this kind of games until I played them - now I see their fun factor and can't have enough of them..

  • I have seen almost all your Densha de Go! Shinkansen videos. I love them, very nice. I think it can be a advertisement for JR to promote bullet train haha. But anyway I have 1suggestion. Because the video is only 1:14, to me its abit short. Maybe in the future you might want to make longer videos. Say 3-4 min.

  • @kohwenchieh Are you suggesting the individual who uploaded the intro video for this fine game would learn 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, etc. just so he could add to the video a big japanese corporation made? It's the intro video of the game, how could it be made longer? By including intro videos of other games? You can't be serious. What do you really expect when you go watch an intro video of a game? Longer video than the intro actually is? あほですか?

  • this is just an animation!!!!!!!!

  • @vishr Yes, it's animation - of course. What do you expect "Densha de Go Shinkansen intro video" to be?

  • it's amusing how much effort they put in to trying to make a train look glamious and wantable.

  • @staceycove Are you saying Shinkansen isn't "glamious" (you probably mean 'glamorous') and 'wantable' (whatever that means)? How do you know that's what they were trying to do?

  • it's amusing how much effort they put in to trying to make a train look glamious and wantable.

  • Ooh, shinkansens are all very handsome!

  • @sahraoui2910 Not all.. only the 500 Nozomi series. (:

  • wow!!!1 this is cool! hey im in class gotta go!!!

  • 作り最高

  • hey hey hey

    come on japan.

    ride on shinkansen.

  • Thanks for the info.

    really appriciate it.

  • i would love to ride on that!

  • are shinkansens expensive to ride in Japan?

  • ex. Tokyo-ShinOsaka 515km > 85€

  • ah yes, remembering that one. I know some of the CG artists who did this back in 2000.

  • :O,no hay duda que no de que Japón encabeza la vanguardia de le industria de los "trenes bala",o shinkansen :),espero sigan desarrollando modelos cada vez más poderosos y sigan sorprendiendo al mundo con ellos...:)

    salu2!

  • dont for get australia! and maybe New Zealand can have the game too, kiwis can be kool when they want to be, btw i got the wii version :D

  • i have been on the 2 fastis bullet train tis was so cool

  • I wasn't talking about japanese people.

  • nice graphics!

  • they should release a British version, with British lines and trains. and maybe a freeware -user- add-on site. So users can make their own add-ons and other people can download them.

  • @ee16csvt Yeah, that would be -so- cool after Shinkansen... not.

  • ha they are too stupid they are one of the most technologically advanced on earth so dont ge there btw its genius that they dont sell it outside japan because it causes people to want to get the japanese version PS2 which they gain more money then consumers can get all the other awesome games offered for the japanese set up so dont call them stupid they are genius

  • I wasn't talking about japanese people but the guys who sell this game

  • awesoma powa!!

  • The shinkansen were the first to run high speed trains in 1964. I wish they sell this game outside Japan.

  • no, they are too stupid

  • super!

  • what is this? A game train sim or what?

  • a train driving Game

  • @fabianfred537 It is an intro from a wonderful game.
