Great Doo-Wop Song. I'm almost certain I heard this song in 1963 (I was nine!). Could anyone tell me what were the chances of this song playing in Northeastern Pennsylvania??? It might be an odd question, but I'm not sure if this was a regional or national hit. There are a ton of us Italian-Americans where I came from.
Great song - takes you back to the good ole days.....and i used to have hair like that ...the good ole days...............hey lend me your comb...........
FIRMEEE MORE & MORE DOO WOP SONGS KEEP POPPIN UP THT I DONT HAV. . . THIS MUSIC IS SOO MUCH BETTER THEN THEN THE SOO CALLED 'MUSIC' NOWA DAYS U CANT EVEN COMPARE THEM. KEEP THE REALL & GOOD MUSIC ALIVE! OLDIES BUT GOODIES FOREVER!
I've been looking for this song for sooooooo long!! I lost all of my doo wop songs on my ipod and I couldn't remember most of the doo wop groups and I completely forgotten about this song!! I love it!
One of my all time favorites. I discovered it when I won an original copy (Taurus label) in a .50 cent raffle at one of the very first UGHA (United In Group Harmony) meetings. Thanks for posting and bringing back such great memories..
I wasn't born during the time of this music, but I love it. Really love it. It's mystifying when today's kids think that music from my youth (70s) is ancient & unfamiliar. Just because I wasn't born during the era from this video doesn't mean I haven't heard doo-wop. Guess one has to go searching if they're interested in musical history. So, this music's great. Not sure why, but it creates a feeling within me of extreme nostalgia. My mind imagines all sorts of good memories that aren't mine.
