I BELIEVE a manager from Great White(the band that played that night) was sentenced to a small prison term for the illegal use of pyrotechnics also,again,strictly on memory,one of the owners was sentenced . (Dardarian was the name,I believe).

WEST WARWICK, R.I., Feb. 21 - A raging fire ignited by a rock band's pyrotechnics display ripped through a nightclub here late Thursday night, leaving at least 95 people dead and 187 injured.

The devastating inferno at a club called The Station was the deadliest nightclub fire in the United States in 25 years and one of the worst in the country's history. Neither the club nor the band appeared to have obtained the necessary town or state fire permits for a pyrotechnics display

This is so similar to the Rhode island nightclub case a band put on pyrotechnics and whoosh...,the place burned to the ground horribly quickly,and victims were found crowding badly lit exits; ;unfortunately,in the US ,intent is needed to bring a murder charge,and the penalties brought upon the owners didn't satisfy anyone.Hope the Russian criminal justice system is tougher...
