I feel the same way someguy...I like what Ron Paul has to say, but by supporting him I would be lumped into a group of whacko conspiracists and douchebags like this guy. Beck did a fine job, Ron Paul even said so himself. The interview was very insightful and the only thing that leaves me skeptical is stuff just like this video.
that IS an honest question, one reason i find it hard to jump on the ron paul bandwagon is because i would be joining lots of 9/11 truther WACKOS and internet spammers. one strange thing... WHY do the truther morons horde to ron paul? might it say something about ron paul? i really do like ron paul but all the truther followers make me VERY skeptical. it was a FINE question
The technique was also used to smear his fund raising. Paul raised $6M in one day but the story was that $500 is from a racist - obviously Paul is a racist and that gets reported.
This is how the media define a candidate as fringe, until the technique is understood, Democracy will fall victim.
LOL well what other presidential candidate has the support of the 9/11 conspiracy wackjobs. Not just 9/11 conspiracy nutjobs, the alien reptilian NWO mass enslavement by chips in your head kind of conspiracy nuts?
Did it ever strike you sir, that Glenn Beck was trying to clear the air about what Ron Paul believed and did not believe in. A lot of people that might be watching that show may not be as researched as the average Doctor Paul supporter.
these questions needed to be asked. i always come across people on youtube that try to push these conspiracies and say ron paul backs them too. it makes me hesitant to support him because he is the only candidate being associated with these conspiracies. glen beck had an especially good reason to ask these questions because those people have threatened his family's life. i'm glad he did.
By asking these questions Blen Beck is associating Ron Paul with these guys. Ron Paul handled it well, but his candidacy gets framed by the questions he's asked.
usernametaken73...tell me about...ur talkin about 3 weeks ago this changes his views in a matter of min's...it is very sad that so many ppl listen to this anti-everything, ex adict guy
Glenn has the Third rated radio show and television show in America. Paul should be so lucky. Granted glenn isnt your typical journalist (thats why he is popular) and Pual isnt your typical canadite.... good match i thought
The first half of the interview seem ok and I was beginning to think that Beck wasn't all that bad. Then the second half came around and he was asking questions that like Dr. Paul said "I shouldn't have to answer these type of questions." No Beck is a tool and as ignorant as they come.
I dont understand how anyone can say it was a bad interview. In an interview you are not supposed to ask the easy questions. Beck asked the questions people wanted to know ,and people that don't watch him all day want clarity on. A few interviews I have seen from Ron P. make him look crazy, not this one. Ron P. was given the time to refute these claims.
i definitely disagree. the way he asked those questions allowed ron to refute them in a very personable and absolute way. the normal media spots would mention something like that just long enough to plant a seed, interrupt his response, use words to paint him as a nutcase. glenn took the normal hit job questions another interviewer would ask and tossed them up so ron could shoot them down.
The French Kiss comment was ridiculous. I think most people could see through Beck's agenda. I am, however, appreciative of the amount of time Ron paul was given to explain his positions on a various number of things. I am happy Dr. Paul showed restraint, as always.
not yet at least...i've written those bastards about that and i'm sure i'm not the only one
even tucker over at msnbc brought it up recently...what a shame
thankfully this sunday tim russert will probably blow them all out of the water...i like his slimy little look when he asks questions out of people like bush and giuliani
Looks like you meant to say "dork" in there in reference to Glen Beck. ;-)
My take was that Beck couldn't shut up -- he's a terrible interviewer because he kept interrupting constantly, wasted time shilling his book, and tried to make himself look smart. A good interviewer enables the interviewee to express a sequence of ideas or comments in a related/organized fashion. The best interviewers disappear into the tapestry of the interview. Glen Beck is plainly not a pro at it.
that had to be asked. I am so glad Ron Paul addressed these idiots who think 911 was a inside job. ever listen to talk radio? They think we are crazy conspirace nutt jobs like Alex (the idiot) Jones.

Why not clear the air about the issue? It helped me know more about Ron Paul. That is a good thing for Ron Paul and his campaign.
