  • Thoughtful gift. Well done.

  • Who is Hugh Jackman? Movie star or singer? Never heard of

  • Yeah I bet, haha

  • wow, rly? he played Wolverine, and Grover in the Movie austrialia, he has been in so many mvies, its not funny.

  • @WaterWarrior44 my favorite performance of his is in The Fountain

  • @WaterWarrior44 : he was called the Drover, not GROVER...Grover is from Sesame Street...LOL!!!

  • @jorbin124 Thankyou for the correction! lol

  • Anyone know if this show will be available on DVD when it's no longer on broadway?

  • You're looking at a 1 in a million chance of that happening (a bit of an exaggeration, I know), but it rarely happens and it's even more rare with this because of who's in it and the fact that it will be adapted for the screen soon after it closes.

If you're in or near New York City, get up and go see it right now. It's only open for 4 more shows and 3 more days at the time of posting this. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them together and it's a truly incredible show.

  • @tallie7487 Do you mean it will be turned into a movie? That's good enough for me.

  • One of my roommates knows one of the creative members of the show and was told it's in Daniel's contract that if he did the show then he would star in the film. I understand if that's enough for you if you don't live anywhere near the city, but if you are near the city then as an actor I cannot stress to you how much more of an experience seeing them on Broadway is than it will be to see Daniel on screen (Hugh won't be in the film). In a nutshell, see it on Broadway if you can. Don't miss it.

  • California, unfortunately. Wish I could have seen it

  • I saw it just today and Hugh and Daniel stayed on stage afterward to thank us for being the first audience since they've opened when a cell phone didn't go off. They also both took off their shirts and auctioned them off to the audience for Broadway Cares (an aids charity). They went for $4,500 each, haha. They signed them and dated them. Quite the performance to choose to attend.

  • Ok, that's REALLY cool of you.

    Well done, sir.

  • Hugh gREAT MAN, tallie7487 great friend

  • Wow........Hugh comes thru again......What a nice guy! Happy birthday to your friend and safe keeping for him.

  • That's a frickin awesome birthday present.

  • That is so sweet of you. I bet you stood there for ages. That's an awesome gift. Hugh AND Craig seem really cool off-screen.

  • nice video

  • fuckin american patriotism. Make love not war!

  • That was cool.

  • God bless your friend and cheers to you for being a good friend.

  • You are a amazing nice friend!!

  • Germantown, not any more though. New York now :)

  • Wow man, you're a really good friend. I hope Will comes back soon

And Hugh is so nice! Gotta love him

  • That's so sweet.

  • thats amazing! most celebs wouldnt do that.....hes great! god bless your friend

  • This gave me goosebumper's. Good job, and good luck to your friend. May he return home safe.

  • i think it was the right thing for him to stop during the play to tell the person to turn off their cell phone it shows he really cares about the play and his character

  • Aye!!

The guy or girl with the cell phone was being rude so Hugh had to put him/her in their place.

  • Those people with cell phones who are not courteous enough should read this:

There was an incident that Jackman breaks character to tell the owner of the ringing cell phone, "You want to get that?" as the audience erupts in cheers. As the ringing persists, Jackman pleads: "Come on, just turn it off." He then paces the stage of the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, waits about a minute for the ringing to stop and the play resumes.

  • The interruption occurred during an intense moment in the play, when Jackman's character, a Chicago policeman, reveals haunting memories.

  • I heard about that

  • Mate that was a really nice thing you did for your friend and so nice of Hugh do to that for you also.

  • HOLD THE PHONE, IT'S HUGH.....

  • omg hugh is not only a great actor, but also a great person.

this must be why a lot of people love him.

  • I am so moved by this whole thing- what a great idea to do this for your friend. Hugh Jackman was so gracious. And, most of all, I am moved by your friend Will's courage to be serving in the armed forces. May he be happy and well!

  • Classy man!

  • Seems like a really nice guy considering how annoying it must be to live that life. On one hand it's great for the ego, but to have to be on all the time would be nerve draining.

  • Yeah I would get annoyed, but Hugh Jackman seems to just be a genuinely nice, laid back guy. He's the kind of guy that everybody likes.

  • I seen the show when i was in new york! it was a brillant show!! and got his autograph after the show! he was so nice and spend ages signing autographs and chatting to people! such a lovely man! thanks hugh!

  • wow Hugh is truly awesome! to be put on the spot like that and respond so politely, wow he is just a class act!

  • Aww, he's so sweet!! :D :D

  • Sweet idea from you and sweet attitude from HIM to do it !! He is always so charming with us fans, with everybody in fact..... He definitely IS nt only the sexiest man on Earth, but also the most PERFECT one !!!!

  • that was so great...he's so sweet...great video and an awesome gift...

  • Aww... that was so sweet!

  • How early did you get in line to meet him?

  • I got there at about 8:50 and the show ended at 9:30. I suggest you get there at least 30 minutes before a performance ends if you want to be at the front of the barricade to meet and chat with Hugh and Daniel.

  • About what time did they come out?

  • 10:00 like it says in the video. It only takes about 30 minutes or less for them to come out

  • dude...that was so damn nice of you! awesome birthday present :) hope your friend stays safe! he has to try and beat your birthday present to him anyways ;D

  • That'll be pretty difficult to beat, haha
