We actually had the declawing done with a procedure involving a laser. Their were no bandages or stitches. The cat slept the day of the procedure, after that, she was very playful and "herself".
You shouldn't have declawed the cat, it's wrong. Claws are not the equivilant of 'fingernails' in humans, they are the equivilant of fingers/toes and cats need them for a lot of purposes, running, balance, cleaning, grooming, scratching itches, as well as self defence.
Bengals are intelligent cats and don't use their claws without a need, and if trained not to. Besides, you can always clip them or glue soft ends on them if you can't handle the occasional scratch.
Funniest Cat vs. Dog Video!! I was thankful watching this that the puppy had on the protective equipment (coat) - those cat claws can be brutal! They both seem to be having a great time. I was also impressed with their use of technology.
