@MagicianPugh I'm trying to figure it out myself...never seen it either..when I figure it out I'll let you know....or if you do share w/me in a day or so I'm gonna get it.....
@RaphaelVdb Do you mean the move @PontusTheMagician is refering to? If so, it's a very well known technique mainly used for other purposes. It was first published in 1930 in The Magic Wand Vol. XIX No. 145 and it credits John Elrick as the inventor. The most popular source is, however, Expert Card Technique page 177 where the move is credited to Jean Hugard.
@geoluck Damn I bought a cheap copy of the GPS after seeing this vid and wanting to learn the Spring Production. I saw it mentioned at an R Paul Wilson Convention. I saw it briefly done by Paul at his International Magic lecture a few weeks ago. Shame love the production, do you have any idea where I could find it printed???
@geoluck Thanks. You are very nice to me. But I watched it a couple of times and figurate out, the grips and the break. I am using it all the time now... Thanks :)
its funny i think people dont relize that he is one of the very top sleight of hand artist in the world because hes so funny, his tecqnique is flawless, look how natural his hands look when he palms cards.
I checked content list of Steve Forte's GPS and can't seem to find any reference to the spring production. Did he somehow go over it within one of the sections of a more broader subject?
@kcg5000 The spring production is on Gary Norsigians lecture notes: "Four behind the ear".. Finding em however wont be easy but you might want to contact Gary himself. There is no credit on the lecture notes to Forte btw...

@TheBradTobin . When we all watched him do this live we were all blown away and that was in a room where the majority of us were working magicians. I am sure you do not suck, David is just incredible:)
@UncleGary01 I agree with you entirely and although he misses some of the moves, I should tell you that this was filmes in the very early hours of Friday morning (if memory serves me correctly).
Just the sheer skill Williamson has with a deck is overwhelming. Even though he didn't hit some of the moves, the way he handles the cards is beautiful.
@ACEKING26 There are no gimmicks here and this was aborrowed deck. I had the opportunity to meet and session with this guy at Blckpool and he ran through this.
If you are interested in learning more, Steve Forte's work is something I would reccomend:)

Anybody know the name of the move at :34 (repeated at 1:55)? Not familiar with this. If you know where it can be found, that would be helpful.
Thanks for posting--love the vid.

@Alel4737 The GPS was not meant to teach, certainly not even to show off moves, or productions.
kcg5000 1 year ago
@kcg5000 GPS was meant as an exposeé to the public and to provide an insight into the moves:)
geoluck 1 year ago
@geoluck Yes, I am aware although it did not go into moves point by point, as dvds now do. The tapes were also made for the protection industry.
(the museum tour on the dvd set is great)
Where might you find his lecture notes?

@kcg5000 The spring production is on Gary Norsigians lecture notes: "Four behind the ear".. Finding em however wont be easy but you might want to contact Gary himself. There is no credit on the lecture notes to Forte btw...
