Tourettes?? Are you talking about Paul's little head bob, that Ardy is copying so perfectly?? Watch Paul sometime -- that's just the way he moves his head...
yeah, he awoke and the song was there in his head and he called it scarmbled eggs and then went around thinking that it must be a song that was written, but no-one heard that melody before, then he knew it was his!
Paul even said, he could never have wrote such a melody consciously.
The guy from Rain does the best on this one, actually the *real* Paul on this sounds incredible and very pure in voice. ARdy sings this okay, but I am not a big fan of his on this song.
It looks like he's singing with the real Paul on film (is he??) This song is a hard one for Paul, too, since it's about the death of his mother from breast cancer when he was 14; "...why she had to go, I don't know, she wouldn't say..." Paul's heartache is still raw even today...And now with Linda's passing (from the same disease), it's even more heart-rending...
When I saw this on the album it said Lennon/McCartney meaning it's a John Lennon and Paul McCartney song. Only Paul McCartney sang it. It's just weird.
You are talking about the credits for the song writting. All Beatles songs say Lennon/McCartney, except George's songs which say Harrison (& Ringo say Starkey). Each Beatles wrote what they sang, but John and Paul shared writting credits. Most songs sung by both together/duet, were written by both.
Most songs were written by the ones who sang them, but like Yellow Submarine, Paul wrote and had Ringo sing. So there are exceptions, but yeah the Lennon/McCartney thing was agreed over a handshake before the two were old enough for such a "contract" to be legal, but they stuck to their promise throughout their Beatles career, though there have been controversies surrounding Paul's reordering of the names on some that he actually wrote. Oh and I saw the Fab Four and they are AMAZING!!!!!
at least hes pretending to be lefty

nobody can ever really replace The Beatles- but the Fab Four do an amazing job at being a tribute band!

this is a hard one even for Ardy. You can hear the difference more on this song, but that is a damn fine effort.

I think it was an excellent effort.
