If you want to play FFVII, download it on PSN. That game had more than enough attention already. I'm glad they're finally deciding to leave it dead. That said, FFXIV looks great. Can't wait.

Does anyone else get reminded of Final Fantasy 12 as this game is shaping up, it almost feels like it's going to be like an online version of Final Fantasy 12, Not that that's bad, It's quite cool actually. Just one more thing to add and the game will be perfect, well one or two, Omnislash and Renzokuken, shit I'd even settle for a Climhazard. :D

@Brutal31 That's just a place holder for stores atm...since SE said it'll be released 2010, it's a safe bet to go that far. But the official release date hasn't been given yet. It all depends on how well the beta goes.

the game is STILL in alpha, going to beta soon hopefully, the rough "release" is 2010, but they cant give a date as there are still a lot of things to test

this trailer give a basic idea of graphics of the game and how things looks like.. thats what a trailer does...

@vinan123 LOL this isn't an 80 console final fantasy. Its an ONLINE rpg, which means that alpha/beta testing are required to work out the bugs BEFORE release. So of course there's no release date, its done when its done.

@vinan123 common sense genius... they have said countless times that they want a beta (which hasn't even started yet) of several months..one that's longer than the FFXI beta of 3 months was... yet the trailer and everything they've said so far is that we're basically assured a 2010 release.... so baring some colossal meltdown it'll be out in late November/early December just in time for the Christmas season. It's not rocket science.
