I don't think this was some "sitter" and I don't think you were on "vacation". I think that is the poster, Nkaran, in the video doing this to the cat and after getting a shit load of bad comments, the description magically changed to someone else doing the abusing. People treat animals the way they secretly want to treat people, if they could. That's why when we find people abusing animals, we should beat them about the head till a substance resembling red guacamole comes out.

I think they are doing just fine by the cat for NORMAL human beings. A NORMAL person, opens a can of cat food, dumps the food in a dish/plate/bowl and puts the food vessel on the floor and lets the cat eat in peace--period! Normal people DO NOT feed cats in the manner depicted in this video. A cat with a home should be treated like a cat with a home, especially, in its own home. A cat with a home is entitled to regular meals that are not consumed as part of an impromptu circus performance, just like you.

We do the same with kids and we do the same with friends. We steal fries and we make them miss something we give to them to eat from our hands. This was just for this moment and the cat clearly got food as the owner states in the description. It would have starved to death outside, this owner took her in with good heart and good intentions.
This is actually rather cruel and is animal abuse. The poor kitten is obviously hungry enough to do whatever it has to do to get it's food. A well-fed cat would wait and meow until you put the can down until it started to eat. Plus, if it was already starving and you rescued it, then fucking feed it. Don't play stupid games with a hungry and "starving" animal. Feed it, or give it to someone who will actually take proper care of it.
@UNCRatDog As it's stated in the text the cat isn't starving more than possibly just showing it's hungry. Some cats meow others don't. I've got four cats at home and they all act differently when hungry or teased. We tease friends and kids the same way making them miss their "bite of food" for a moment or two just for the fun of it. As it states in the text, the owner was away for the weekend but made sure someone actually fed the cat that was taken in. That's care, not neglect or abuse.

I'm sure the guy who filmed this shut the cam off just to feed it properly after it lost its balance but that we weren't able to see since he probably needed both hands.

It really did make me feel really sorry for that kitten though. It was mean, and hopefully he did correct himself. I had a loved one tho named Theo, took him in and loved him for 7years but had to put him down after a stupid (more in next msg)
@oreias cat watch not listening to me. Theo was a bit behind and was very slow in mind. Took him a year to learn the word No to mention one, didn't have the best of balance and I told the cat watch NOT to have the balcony door open if he wasn't there in person to watch the cats.. he didn't listen and Theo fell and got inner bleedings, I had to put him to sleep the same day my dad's wife's funeral was, 1hr after the ceremony in fact.. worst day of my life, his vet. bill was about $2000.. I tried.
@oreias How horrible! We rescued a stray kitten a few years back. (Probably about six months at the time we took her in), and she ended up having feline leukemia. By the time she was only about 2 years old she was so sick and in pain that we had to have her euthanized. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done to hold her and say goodbye and watch helplessly as they ended her life. Did you make the cat watch pay the bill? At the very least they should have paid the bill if not more!
@UNCRatDOG considering that cat was my "baby" since he was about 4-5weeks when he came to me I did everything for him.. he was malnourished and dehydrated when they found him and his three siblings by a highway in a card board box..*fume*. I tried to get the cat watch to pay at least half but he wouldn't have it.. the only thing he said was that I should have hired a "professional" and paid them to watch them... wtf? ... moron. I know Theo had 7 very good years with me, that's a small comfort.
@oreias Was he just an un-paid person who watched your cat, or was he part of a business? It was Theo's time to go and you should definitely take comfort in the fact that you saved him and gave him a good life. One that he may not have known without you. How long ago did this happen?
@UNCRatDog Actually it was my ROOMMATE at that time... so no, he was just a person who said he could watch my cats while I was gone for a few days. Yeah, I know it was Theo's time to go, but I still miss him a lot, he was a very special one. One of those you'll always hold dear to your heart. I comfort myself with that he did Get a life with me instead of none at all, can't believe how people can throw Lives away like that! This happened last year in july. I even did an autopsy on him to be sure
@oreias The stray we rescued who died of Feline Leukemia, "Whiskers", was one of those very special cats as well. I know it's very hard to lose a loved one, whether human or animal, but they came to us for a reason. At least we got to have them in our lives for the time that we did! Did the vet say he had internal bleeding and then you did an autopsy just to make sure the vet was right?
@UNCRatDog Yeah, he really was one of those special ones.No, I did an autopsy to find out if it really was the fall that "killed" him or if it was something else since he was a stray from the start, but it was the fall that killed him. The liver tests were off the scale (while alive)and he peed blood. He also broke a bone in his paw and his left upper canine. I did the autopsy to know I did the right thing to put him down instead of letting them operate on him for about $3000 on top of the $2000

Oh, and our cat had been poorly taken care of when we rescued her and was actually starving and the vet says 3-4 weeks old at the time. I think that's probably why it really rubbed me the wrong way.

@thesaratonin I love animals as much as reasonable, but at a point we come to conflict, these people go out of their way to help this animal, here they think they are having fun, but don't think much of it being much to the cat's expense, they may think it's fun to him too. It's a hardy animal.. I don't think they are blatantly cruel to this animal, if they did harm, they are innocent of being evil to the cat. They do their best. And commenting is part of YouTubes entertainment to me, not hobby.

Whether the petsitter was doing his best to entertainment the cat &/or himself while 'caring' for the cat, the proof is in the video that FOR WHATEVER REASON his behaved this way: IT WAS NOT APPROPRIATE. Your first clue is that you would not enjoy being fed this way by your babysitter. You have NO medical data on this cat.

@thesaratonin Well imo he wasn't wrong, first off they are feeding that cat fairly regularly enough, he's not going to look normal just immediately. I think they are doing just fine by the cat for NORMAL human beings. You are apparently and exceptional human being by your greater ownership of animals, but your requirements are far above and beyond the average person, and I don't think it's going to be getting any better, many people consider even ME to be too nice when it comes to animal rights.

@darknessofkrish The whole point is that HE WAS WRONG. A NORMAL person, opens a can of cat food, dumps the food in a dish/plate/bowl and puts the food vessel on the floor and lets the cat eat in peace--period! Normal people DO NOT feed cats in the manner depicted in this video. A cat with a home should be treated like a cat with a home, especially, in its own home. A cat with a home is entitled to regular meals that are not consumed as part of an impromptu circus performance, just like you.

I'd want to assure you that while your level of affection and standard of care for animals is admirable and not at all bad for animals or bad in general, but I don't think you can ever expect that same level from everyone as a whole, looking at the whole that cares about any animals well being at all.

@bookkeeper57 If you read the description of this piece you'd know the cat was NOT starving and teasing someone before they get food, who wouldn't? We do the same with kids and we do the same with friends. We steal fries and we make them miss something we give to them to eat from our hands. This was just for this moment and the cat clearly got food as the owner states in the description. It would have starved to death outside, this owner took her in with good heart and good intentions.

This is actually rather cruel and is animal abuse. The poor kitten is obviously hungry enough to do whatever it has to do to get it's food. A well-fed cat would wait and meow until you put the can down until it started to eat. Plus, if it was already starving and you rescued it, then fucking feed it. Don't play stupid games with a hungry and "starving" animal. Feed it, or give it to someone who will actually take proper care of it.

@UNCRatDog As it's stated in the text the cat isn't starving more than possibly just showing it's hungry. Some cats meow others don't. I've got four cats at home and they all act differently when hungry or teased. We tease friends and kids the same way making them miss their "bite of food" for a moment or two just for the fun of it. As it states in the text, the owner was away for the weekend but made sure someone actually fed the cat that was taken in. That's care, not neglect or abuse.

The issue was that I just said that the cat didn't come to any harm in these 35 seconds that's all there was to my statement in the first place.People tease for the moment but then correct themselves. I'm sure the guy who filmed this shut the cam off just to feed it properly after it lost its balance but that we weren't able to see since he probably needed both hands.

It really did make me feel really sorry for that kitten though. It was mean, and hopefully he did correct himself. Maybe all of the mean comments have made him learn how to treat his kitten/cat better. I'm just glad you're one of those ppl that can talk things out without any bad words or personal jumps on my parents or whatever! :p I have four cats at home, all of them are shelter cats. I had a loved one tho named Theo, took him in and loved him for 7years but had to put him down after a stupid (more in next msg)

@oreias cat watch not listening to me. Theo was a bit behind and was very slow in mind. Took him a year to learn the word No to mention one, didn't have the best of balance and I told the cat watch NOT to have the balcony door open if he wasn't there in person to watch the cats.. he didn't listen and Theo fell and got inner bleedings, I had to put him to sleep the same day my dad's wife's funeral was, 1hr after the ceremony in fact.. worst day of my life, his vet. bill was about $2000.. I tried.

@oreias How horrible! We rescued a stray kitten a few years back. (Probably about six months at the time we took her in), and she ended up having feline leukemia. By the time she was only about 2 years old she was so sick and in pain that we had to have her euthanized. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done to hold her and say goodbye and watch helplessly as they ended her life. Did you make the cat watch pay the bill? At the very least they should have paid the bill if not more!

@UNCRatDOG considering that cat was my "baby" since he was about 4-5weeks when he came to me I did everything for him.. he was malnourished and dehydrated when they found him and his three siblings by a highway in a card board box..*fume*. I tried to get the cat watch to pay at least half but he wouldn't have it.. the only thing he said was that I should have hired a "professional" and paid them to watch them... wtf? ... moron. I know Theo had 7 very good years with me, that's a small comfort.

@UNCRatDog Actually it was my ROOMMATE at that time... so no, he was just a person who said he could watch my cats while I was gone for a few days. Yeah, I know it was Theo's time to go, but I still miss him a lot, he was a very special one. One of those you'll always hold dear to your heart. I comfort myself with that he did Get a life with me instead of none at all, can't believe how people can throw Lives away like that! This happened last year in july. I even did an autopsy on him to be sure

@oreias The stray we rescued who died of Feline Leukemia, "Whiskers", was one of those very special cats as well. I know it's very hard to lose a loved one, whether human or animal, but they came to us for a reason. At least we got to have them in our lives for the time that we did! Did the vet say he had internal bleeding and then you did an autopsy just to make sure the vet was right?

@UNCRatDog Yeah, he really was one of those special ones.No, I did an autopsy to find out if it really was the fall that "killed" him or if it was something else since he was a stray from the start, but it was the fall that killed him. The liver tests were off the scale (while alive)and he peed blood. He also broke a bone in his paw and his left upper canine. I did the autopsy to know I did the right thing to put him down instead of letting them operate on him for about $3000 on top of the $2000

Oh, and our cat had been poorly taken care of when we rescued her and was actually starving and the vet says 3-4 weeks old at the time. I think that's probably why it really rubbed me the wrong way.

@UNCRatDog In this comment, I'm talking about the cat we have now. Her name is "Deliah Darko". I think I have some videos of her on my channel. The cat that had Feline Leukemia was named "Whiskers". So, Deliah, the one we currently have, was half starved to death, just taken from her mom and dumped at 3-4 weeks old. The people didn't even let her finish nursing! Needless to say, she has SEVERE separation anxiety. She's sitting in my lap as we speak nursing on her blue bathrobe. lol.
