  • Damon does too many awkward smiles. Seriously, count them.

So to you, I say, fuck you assholes- the crap being served today is the crap you ordered us decades ago.

  • @SOSTacoJohnson you are a very bad troll

  • @sotuph That's cus im not trolling

  • @SOSTacoJohnson D'ya think Blur fully understood the symbolism of saying 'the future's been sold' whilst wearing The Clockwork Orange one eye thing? - Kubrick was quite conspiracy minded after all.

  • @arizonabay6 You say conspiracy minded like the world is what the TV tells you it is.

  • the best song of Blur

  • VH1!

Sorry, that's the first thing that I think when I heard this song.

  • @TheSladerr Me too. I first heard it in VH1. I was a blur fan and then i saw a video called The Universal and then it came into my mind ''Hey VH1 los 60 mejores song". And if this is your first time you listen to Blur, you should listen more of them. They are a great band.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlejandroLR1995 Thank you, I'm doing that lmL

  • Am I the only one so taken in by the lead singer's resemblance to Alex DeLarge that I didn't even listen to the song properly?

  • @darthsud No you're not, if you scroll down you'll see that I previously commented about it, although I think that the band over-emphasised the very mild similarities, and with less subtlety than with the music video for The Hives' "Walk Idiot Walk", which since you're interested in A Clockwork Orange I have a feeling you'll love, as the lead is such a striking young Malcom Mcdowell and Mick Jagger hybrid it's unreal; If I was given the opportunity to body swap that's who I'd be.

  • "There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence."

  • The Universal is such a fantastic song but if you like this you should search:

THE VINYLS-GET IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD

It only takes 3min and this band are definitely worth checking out!

  • i cant understand the video

  • Sounds to me like they've been at that milk with knives in it, the kind that sharpens you up and readies you for a night of being an ultra-violinist.

  • no one cares how old you are! good music knows no age. .

  • shut up i am sick of people saying sorry my generation did shit and i am sick of i am here because of this, this brought me here that brought me here and please stop telling your fucking age like its something cool maybe it is if you re 14 but stop it

  • Daamon sos hermosoooooooooooooooooo !

  • aaaaaaaah, alex delarge

  • long time ago Blur still good

  • sick of kids wanting brownie points for telling us how old you are ..nobody cares

if you are sorry for your generation of music good music died 3 generations ago you morons

  • Yay! we're all somehow 14..

  • i'm 14 and i hate the music of my generation, 90's 4 ever

  • yay! we're 14 and not ignorant :D

  • so clockwork orange lol

  • My god, cant get enough of that fucking grin at 0:37 :D

  • Weird Anthony Burgess vibe from this vid...

  • Mmh... "A clockwork orange" style? ;) Love it!

  • @AlejandroLR1995 why the fucking hell has this comment been marked as 'negative spam'???

  • So many Kubrick stares. O_O

  • OMG I'm in love with his deep blue eyes.

  • @Mousteache Gorillaz is project of Damon Albran.. Radiohead re blur-time-band! )

90 th. Britpop-generation band. First album of Massive attack was realised in 1991..

Shame on you. They re all belongs to this generation.

  • @SoMymsy I know. Lol.

  • Kubrick´s Legacy...

  • thank god we still have the arctic monkeys, gorillaz, the wombats and bands like that to remind us there is still hope in music..

  • I love A Clockwork Orange.

  • @alejandrolr1995 What about spelling?

  • I'm 14 and I'm not here to apologize about my generation I'm here because I have a good taste in music.

  • @1997MCW that's it bro, nice comment, I'm 15 and im so pissed off about those people

  • @1997MCW im 14 as well, I completely agree with your comment and was going to write something similar but this said it for me.

  • @1997MCW You don't represent this generation. This generation represents you.

  • Kids, stop this argument. Blur is good. Arctic Monkeys & Co. too. This is where people come to share their taste and ours is awesome [point]

  • fuck yeah dopamine

  • thumbs up if you still watching this 10.000 B.C

  • My eyes were on Alex the whole time O.O

  • God love his voice. But the music is always brilliant.

  • This song is brilliant and one of the only ones I like of the Great Escape album (the only blur album I never really liked). The video however is amazing and I think it's up there with the vid for coffee & tv. I think the tower block part was filmed in London's Nightingale Estate in Hackney and all the blocks bar one have been blown down.

  • Happy new 2012 year. Fuck the end of the world and viva la vida Blur

  • wow....me encantan se muestran tan cinicos pero devertidos...

  • Original Sound Track for "The End Of The World" WELCOME 2012!

  • The 90s were pretty awesome!

  • fckin graham what alittle faggot ew at the lipstick

  • pero ke buena cancion ..tema i love

  • additionally, I love how British Gas uses the song for thier family-friendly adverts, when the video references maybe one of the most un-family-friendly films of all time.

  • If University has only taught me two things, then these are it;

    Blur are fucking awesome

A Clockwork Orange is fucking awesome.

  • 00:37 - SCARY

  • 3:13 Damon's signature wink

  • I'm 15 and came to apologyze for what my generation has done to music.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 You're apologizing for Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys, MGMT, OK Go, The Strokes, The xx, and Two Door Cinema Club, among countless others... really?

  • @maxwellssilverhammr any one who has to apologise for OK Go needs to see a head doctor... IMMEDIATELY.

  • @maxwellssilverhammr BTW... you have exceptional music taste. i love all those bands especially OK Go and the black keys. ok go's my total obsession :D

  • @maxwellssilverhammr Yeah. Those ones are bullshit except The xx.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 Thats so wrong, our generation hasnt done anything wrong and has produced some great bands and singers and as you just dont know all the awful bands and singers from this time in about 30 years time im sure some other person will be saying how wonderful our generation of music was and how awful theirs is now

  • @MsAlexis4444 U know, the problem is that 30 years' ago music is still listen. Today's music in 30 years won't be listen. 30 years ago people "changed" and "marked" people who listen it, nowadays not:S

  • Comment removed

  • @AlejandroLR1995 I'm 17 and don't "apologize" for what's not your fault. Blame the real culprits. The record labels. Or rather, their marketing teams.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 What about Radiohead? Gorillaz? Massive Attack? M83? Arctic Monkeys? There are so many great bands out there, they make music progress. Shame on you to not recognize it.

  • @Mousteache Obviously Blurillaz forever and Radiohead too.

  • @Mousteache I say ''I apologyze for what my generation has done to music'' because, if you see, there's only shitty prefabricated pop music and I'm tired of that. That's what I mean with my comment beacuse I know that there are too many good bands out there and the shity pop music don't give a chance to the REAL music.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 You're so full of shit. Bad taste is timeless.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 Popular artists are popular because a lot of people support them. It's up to you to support a band which makes good music in your opinion. Lol. As simple as it seems.

  • @Mousteache i listen 2 most of them and im 13

  • @Mousteache Blur and Gorillaz are so intertwined you can mention them in one breath.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 hey since we don't appreciate the music of today it's the other part of our generation who are the guilty ones. let those fellas apologize!

  • @AlejandroLR1995 The Libertines. The Arctic Monkeys. The Strokes. The White Stripes. Our generation has had some of the greatest bands of all time. Its people like you who are to blame for the death of "good music". There are so many fantastic bands...yet people like you choose to ignore them. Its not the record companies...its the people. If you want better rock music, SUPPORT A BAND. And stop whining about how our generations music sucks. Its not going to change if all you do is complain.

  • @TheStationable Lol you used wank like The Libertines, Strokes, White Stripes that for an example of "the greatest bands of all time". Thank funk for rap.

  • @MikeTheSaintable mhm. Remind which rapper is the one that refrains from rapping about "money, clothes, and "hoes,".

  • @TheStationable RUN DMC, Slick Rick, Eric B & Rakim, De La Soul, Cold Crush, Force MC's, Aesop Rock, Grand Master Flash & The Furious 5... I'm going to assume you're music collection is pretty 1 dimentional and that you didn't so much need reminding more that a full education. The rest you have to find on your own. If you can stop fapping over Pete Docherty for 5 mins.

  • @MikeTheSaintable I'm referring to the music of my generation. All those artists you mentioned are from the past decade. AS FOR THE STATE OF RAP NOW. It sucks. There was the misunderstanding there, so I'll give you that.

As for my music collection, I LISTEN TO ALL TYPES OF MUSIC. Electronic, Folk, Hip Hop (old stuff), and rock. And for you to insult me because of bands that I like just because you don't like them is pretty one dimensional.

  • @TheStationable Does will smith count as a rapper if he doesn't drop F bombs?

  • @AlejandroLR1995

Yeah Justin Bieber is your fault. Hang your head in shame.

  • @AlejandroLR1995 You're right. I find most people of our generation very dumb, vain, and plastic - this is reflected in the tasteless, manufactured music they listen to - but I think the main reason for the complete turdification of the music scene is due to the absence of Top of the Pops and the presence of the X-factor. Compared to now, 1995 was a golden age for music (especially in the UK).

  • @AlejandroLR1995 me too, dont get as good music anymore, some of its quite good, (music from nme, kerrang and scuzz) but it'll nevr beat this, nevr evr !! :D

  • Drinkin' that miloko.

One of the things I miss from my Adobe Photoshop class. :( My professor would annoy us with this track and put it on full blast. Now, I just miss the class and listen to this track as a reminder.

  • i am an oasis fan and i bought ROLL WITH IT not COUNTRY HOUSE in the 90's. BUT THIS IS JUST PURE MAGIC.

  • The Korova Milk Bar I suppose.

  • i am so glad this finally reached a million. they deserve it. blur forever, tour in america soon! (please.)

  • I think this pretty much sums up the future, the rich live in luxury while everyone else has to watch.

  • @TheMightyKawama Maybe your right !....but ARE the rich really happy? they seem to have everything......if you have nothing to strive for life must get pretty boring . Rather be the poor man enjoying the climb, then the fat man sat on his high pedestal who will find it harder when he falls. "Don't watch enjoy the climb " : )

    ber and

  • With the eyeliner Damon's eye looks massive while the other looks tiny

  • Damon Albarn = THE SEXIEST BEAST ON THE FREAKING PLANET! :D

  • Oh God, I need stop but I just can't do it... Help me.. No, let me be happy! Why don't you want me to be happy? God, I have to go to work, take me out of this computer but remember that I've always been a good girl...
