I have seen bikes of all makes that were shitty in nature. I have enjoyed my harley for years, and I still do own a "jap" bike although it is a kawasaki dual sport as well. I have had equal problems with each of them. Granted if something does break on the harley it will cost more to replace/repair. Saying that jap bikes are problem free and all harleys will break down on you is ignorant at best.
