  • This is the basic of Balintawak. And yes it is derived from the late Doring Saavedra, to Grandmaster Bacon, to Vicente "Inteng" Atillo, then to Great Grandmaster Ising Atillo. I studied under Great Grandmaster Atillo when I was in SO. CA. I have achieved Master level under him. And more power to you David.

    Malcolm, This Balintawak is derived from Saavedra Style and coming from GM Atillo.

    We have over 20 different sparring drills and this particular drill is number 2. We do not have groupings in our style. Thank you for asking.
