You seem to think that the only thing about a team is a qb. Look at the Jets, the Ravens, the 49ers, all those teams dont have a great qb but they are all playoff teams because the TEAM is good. You can see that Manning is a rare talent because he takes a poor team to the playoffs every year, and without him we see that they are 0-10. The Patriots were a rare combination of great qb and great team which is why they almost went undefeated that one year. But Brady doesnt carry that whole team.

No backup can work the colts offense like manning. They were almost never in a huddle calling it at the line, and reading the D like a book and audabling. Brady is a great Quarterback easliy number two behind Peyton Manning I have a ton of respect for Tom Brady and I think he has done a great job carrying on the Patriots legacy, and Mallet will continue and so on, but, Manning has thrown over 4,000 yards nine times, and Brady twice. Manning also almost always has a greater quarterback rating, and, the colts were 2-14ish before Manning, (and 3-13 his rooke year)
