the snakeheads wont kill each other if they are kept together since they are young and they are evenly fed. You could feed small mice but just for fun once a month or something.
They don't turn black when they get bigger! The colours will fade a bit. You dont have to feed them live fish all the time and it's better that you don't anyway because they can give your snakeheads diseases. You can buy dead fish from the supermarket and cut it to small bits and feed them that.
Oh, u sure they will eat dead fish from the supermarket? cos i dont really like to see them eat tiny goldfish, and donno why, those feeder fish always die very fast if i keep them, so i always have to go to the petshop to buy a dollar or two after a few days, lots of trouble buying and keeping feeder fish, if snakehead really can eat fish from the wet market, it will be alot easier for me.
Haha, u know what? i used to have two chevron snakeheads that i keep in the same tank with this two redline snakehead, and becos im too busy and didnt go to the petshop and buy feeder goldfish, this two fella ate that two chevron snakehead up!!! But chevron snakehead doesnt looks as nice as redline..haha...
nice. That bigger (alpha) snakehead will eventually kill the other one. When they're bigger, you can start feeding it pinkies (hairless pink baby mice).
