I actually caught a live, acoustic impromptu version of this at a latter Lollapalooza in Miami, under a tent while the Beastie Boys were comin on...Perry Farrell acompanied by this Asian beauty drove of after the song in a golf cart leaving many Janes fans clapping and cheering....PFP was not on the playlist.....I caught them months later, me and my micro-casstette recorder......una berraquera!

Huge Jane's fan here but I really loved what Farell did w Porno for Pyros.

Both Porno for Pyros albums are great but they really made some beautiful music on Good God's Urge.

yes, mipimipimipimipi-bang-bang, the whole band went to Bali to work on this album, and Perry (and probably Steve, is my guess) went around recording nature sounds on the island to use\mix in to the background. The whole album has weird trippy nature sounds in it, and it freakin rocks.

This is a great song, but i think Bali Eyes beats it out for most classic song on the album.

Loved this band, back in the early 90's many Janes Addiction fans did not like this. i thought it awesome. Comparing Janes Addiction with Porno for Pyros is like comparing Bad Company with the Firm IMO. Lots of talent in both bands, and a much different sound with each.
