  • 0 - 60 mph how many seconds?

  • good work on the car. seems like a lot of piping only to keep the intake still in the engine bay... but it does make sense to keep it off the exhaust side... you should build a box for it to seal it away from the rest of the engine. looks good though

  • did you hear about the Toyota ft86 concept its supposed be the next gen ae86. To me its a totally different car from the original ae86

  • so which is one is better?

  • whats the difference between the altezza and the lexus is

  • The difference between the Lexus IS and the Toyota Altezza is that the Altezza is equipped with 2.0L In-line 4 cylinder BEAMS Dual VVT-i 3S-GE engine(210 bhp) , while the Lexus IS has a 3.0L 2JZ-GE In-line 6 cylinder engine (215-220 bhp) The Altezza comes equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission while the IS is equipped with either a 5 or 4 speed automatic. Those are the major differences..

  • mate ur wrong. my uncle had a lexus is20o and it had a 6 speed manual

  • ohh yeah I forgot about the IS200, but that comes with yet an other engine, the 1G-FE.

  • mate, your dont know shit. its just badging. both the altezza and the IS came out with the same engines. mind you the rs200 didn't come out in australia.

  • i may be wrong but as far as I know the Altezza and the RS200 come with the 3S, the IS200 with the 1G and the IS300 with the 2JZ..or am I wrong?

  • yeah thats right. My point before was that you were saying altezzas and ISs were different. altezzas and the ISs both share these engines. Its just different badging, and maybe some other minor differences. your totally right about the engines. You need to check out vids of altezzas with their J2Z swapped for a supra's J2Z GTE. thats a sweet setup! peace out man

  • slight differences in the interior. The lexus is more for the person who would want their car to be elegant (leather seats etc) whereas the toyota went for the more common way of doing things.

  • you mean more luxurious . so is the altezza more sporty

  • Yes. Thats what I meant. Luxurious. I couldnt think of the word before. I own a Toyota and have seen the Lexus versions and they're mostly the same. Try wikipedia. The Japanese build the Toyotas where the US make the Lexuses.

  • wow that a long intake pipe, they couldnt get it to the right hand side of the engine bay?

  • ye the stroker kit was only available with forged internals . the boost was set to .6 bar so still plenty of room . that run got from what i rember 245bhp at the hubs / 300-310 at the fly and 240 torque

the car is now running closer to the 340 flywheel mark after the new exhaust has come on . now i want to focus on the cars suspension setup . ive also upgraded the breaks to a big break kit .

  • wut kit do u have on?

  • power enterprise turbo

    2.2 stroker kit

bigger injectors fule pump all the usuals

  • i got that done in ttm tullamore .

  • Wheres that getting dyno'ed Ian??
