Yeah absolutely love this track from Zoe Poledouris (David Bowie original is only slightly below par but still a great tune) whom produced this for the sci-fi movie Starship Troopers, which she even played a role as the lead singer in the blue dress during the dance prom scene.

man this is why i love youtube and the web! it just opens up the whole world, you can pretty much find anything you want no matter how distant the memory or obscure the song! Starship Troopers came out right at the time i was finishing school and i went to a glamorous huge graduation party 'ball' JUST LIKE the one on the film and there, i danced with my girl who at the time i would of burned the world down for. Anyway years later and if i ever watch that film or hear this.....im there again. :)

He it is. Basil Poledouris did the score for the film, and I guess his daughter Zoe sung two songs ( that i know of) for the film. From what I know of there are a few edits of this song in particular so I don't know which one is the original edit.

God this video kicks ass. Nice to see something original with 2 of the most played out sources in amvs since they came out.

I love the color correction, did you just use the magic bullet editors for it or levels etc.?

I did the color correct in After Effects just by messing with the color curves. It's actually a stock setting I have saved from when I was trying to recreate the look of "crossprocessing". I do have, and occasionaly use Magic Bullet, but sometimes a simple color curve editing saves time and processing power.
