wy ur landlord was not happy with it ,what it has to do with him?and i order from them very good packing for my first time 2 shaving brush one died fast it gort here he didnt last and the other after couple weeks did ,probably because not enought current of water, but they did refund it,is just need to pay shipping o order some more stuff and it will come which i havent order yet.emails were answer ok and call fast answer,i think i will give them another chance.
@zacguitarshreder12 I actually had to get rid of the tank - though all the fish are in a friend's tank doing well. Landlord found out and wasn't happy with me. I am currently setting up a BC29. Will have videos of that at some point.
@BoraxoftheAmerica I am not sure what yellow fish you are referring too. There was a powder blue in there... it was very pale but I am told this happens from the stress of shipping.
@vanhalenman60 I ended up tearing this tank down because my girlfriend complained about the space and the noise almost daily. I have downsized to a 29 biocube that she says she is happier with. I am in the process of retrofitting LEDs into the stock hood. Once I get the time to set things up I will do an update of that.
i've never had a problem with them, they've always been very generous with their shipments to me. No real complaints, I got a Randall Pistol Shrimp from them that was super small, but he is growing nicely now..
@zacguitarshreder12 blonde naso is going to outgrow the tank unfortunately. With these dimensions, the powder blue will too, but my local community is great. We will be moving almost for sure in about two years, which is another reason I didn't go into corals. Less expensive this way, still fun, and all the fish will have a good home when I relocate!
@ryjack26 what makes you think the tank hasnt been cycled? I actually took the super slow approach with this one (mostly due to budget) and had the tank cycled and online for nearly three months before adding livestock.
@ryjack26 pair of eels, powder blue, the clowns from the nano made it in there, and a tiger wardi. Haven't seen the Tiger Wardi since 5 min after dropping him in. I think he's a goner. Funny thing is that out of all the fish he got the longest acclimation.
I have ordered from Reef2go.com and since im actually located in Florida it makes easier to get free shipping but i have to tell you, I am really happy with the quality and service I get with them.
My order was delayed for some reason but I originially order 4 hermit crabs and received two bags of 100 ea. At first the water was really poor in the bag so i figured that most were dead but i strained them via net and placed them in the aquarium and to my surprise
they were all alive. They are on the small size but still I have small aquariums so it works out fine but still everything was packed well and customer service was great. I had a problem with the cleaner shrimps but customer service took care of the issue quick and hassle free. They often have buy 1 get 1 free sales so utlimately i would highly recommend their company.
@Chris4reef hey Chris. yes, it has been a while. Bad news for FL residents though, THey just stopped the free shipping to FL. You need to purchase a minimum of $50 in product to get the free shipping, otherwise it is $15 to ship. Still a great deal IMO.
i hate reefs 2 go. i order from them because im in florida and we get free shipping. there prices are great sometimes they are half the price but everything they give you is half the size. i ordered a 6 line wrasse and he was the siz of my thumb nail and he was 30 bucks. i tried them 3 times and they did the same thing every time. wont order from them again
I wouldn't say everything they give you is half the size. The only complaints I had were documented in the video. The nassarius and the high fin goby were pretty small. Everything else was about average. I can only speak for this specific order, but we got more than our money's worth. Now I am still waiting for about $40 in credit/refunds...
We had a storm here last year where our power was out for a week. From time to time id hook my lights and skimmer up to my boats deep cycle batteries and I noticed that my blue tang, after being exposed to extended amounts of darkness, would be really pale. They all made it though. It is also pale when lights come on every day but quickly regains its color within seconds. Maybe its a normal thing for tangs.
@gprime22 I have some video I still need to edit. Life has been hectic with school, work, and more work. This video was all shot about two weeks ago, I just didn't have the time to get around to it. You will see more of us soon, if not sooner, then by the holidays! :)
I specifically requested my fish to be shipped on a particular day and they ignored it. I wasn't home for 12 hrs until my shipment was unpacked
